pc constantly fking up. need a solution.

you sure you havnt updraded your ram sticks i just upgraded to 2 2 gb ram sticks and i kept on getting a blue screen and couldnt continue.also tryd rebooting comp with windows disk and it pops up during installing so if fekd ma pc up took it to shops and they giving me new ram sticks.

its possible its your cd you are using, happened with me a few times..

oh yeah, i forgot that i just installed new hardware....

NO OFCOURSE I DIDNT UPGRADE MY RAM!!

I would say install windows xp service pack 1, then get sp2 from microsoft update website. BUT, i done that, and the boot up screen problem (hangs at that screen) still occured

yeah i havnt got an sp2 cd, so iv always downloaded it from the site.

Maybe you should get an XP pro CD then and try that? As mental said, it could well be your cd, or the files on it.

it seems to be playing fine atm without sp2, so yeah ill download proffessional and install that.

Thats exactly what my PC did mayb you should install windows, then get firewall an wateva, connect to internet and do windows update asap?

But firstly, try xo pro ^^
