Hi all,

I have just been ask to build a PC with a PCI Express card, they want to use Asus K8N-E Deluxe, will this board take a PCI Express card?.... as I have just seen a review that said PCI Expresss = none!

I though they could be used in any new board, may need an adaptor but they would work?

Ta for reading.

--Edit--
Seems that the board does not take PCI-E....

Shame would have like to have offered a Nforce3 board.... more searching.

You need (for Athlon 64 anyhow) a Socket 939 board, also called Nforce 4 (though there is others).

P4 boards also do PCI Express which again is a newer socket for the CPU..

NFORCE3 boards are all from my checking on the net Socket 754 which all feature AGP x 8 instead.
