What made euro so good was the tressure hunt aspect of it.
If you had iwt to yourself youd get at least a violet rings type drop from all of them.
People keep thinking euro was harder than it was lol.
When drops wernt great on euro, we didnt have content like pb etc that needed higher kit.
But I do agree this server isnt euro and is their own take on it.

I think the drop rates are good on here and I enjoy the low rate. Gives a better sense of achievement when you get a good kit and higher level although because of the diversity of dungeons it's not overly hard to level which is good. PVP is unbalanced atm mainly in favour of Sins but it will level out and at the moment I don't mind so much if a Sin kills me and I drop my power axe!!! lol I think maybe people moaning at PVP should just be more careful of other players.

I think the only people moaning are the ones who can't be arsed to work for what they want.

If those people decide to leave then who really cares?

The people leaving most likley want an event that gives them most of the items they want haha.

People are stupid. Given the choice, a lot of people would accept a whole kit from GM. They think they want this, they actually don't. it's the grind to getting there that is the majority of the fun, not having the item. People also think easy kit is what they want, but it isn't. if it's easy you don't jump for joy when u get a 'rare'.

If you want to play a high-rate server, go play a high-rate server.

I worked out a way to make a million a night, that isn't low-rate lol, think I've earnt over 6 million in gold alone and that isn't from selling rares from bosses.

There's people 40+ and the servers been up what, 3 weeks? If anything the server could do with being slowed down a lot, maybe 1.5x exp not 3x. I can see people getting too high-level and simply getting bored because the game's too easy to get high level, not because it's too hard to get gold/items. I remember watching my brother (Nowhereman) grinding in Past Bichon on Euro at lvl 43, that **** was ridiculously slow. I bet 43-44 could be done in a few days on here - I'm sure it took him weeks/months to get 44 on Euro.

Don't slow the server down, let the moaners leave if they want to - there's plenty of other high-rates out there for the impatient to play!

Agreed!

I'm waiting for Shinshu to drop and so glad it's not a shop item cause it'll feel earned when it drops. As for Items - I have semi-descent items for my class - but I'm not crying that I don't have pearl necklace and titan rings. I will get these in due time :) and should put me a foot further than other tao's hopfully

Was slow before PI patch. As sin it only made sense to level in PI when I got lev22, instead I should be in mines or BC in my twenties

Agreed with that the leveling areas seem "out of sync" and accessible to all players when they really shouldn't be.

On my lvl 20 archer I grinded to 22 by soloing Foxes, rt'ing around until I found a non-ranged one. They didn't even take long to kill, just a bit longer than a BigRat in ZT. That's all wrong in my opinion, a level 20 should be soloing in mines, BC or WT maximum, they definitely shouldn't be able to survive solo in places like ZT, Foxes, ST, PT/PSC - the places I was hunting.

This is the reason nobody has gold. You don't have the stats to farm those caves effectively, gold wise. you take too much damage, and don't hurt enough, meaning you spam pots. it's marginally quicker, but you have a lot less gold.

+1

People think they know what they want.

I haven't had as much fun on Mir in YEARS. Finding a decent rare, heck, just seeing Mass Healing drop made me and my group squeal a little. This part of Mir had been taken away from us. Servers where you'd leave a Dslayer on the floor, where finding a rare meant nothing because it wasn't actually rare, everyone would have it soon. Seeing a guy in a WSB or something is like oh **** atm.

Drop rates are fine and I'm guessing Sam is slowly but surely adjusting them as time goes on.

Here's what I think the problem is. Back on Euro you could hunt Gang spiders and get a frequent mass drop of armours, or go Bug Cave and get a bunch of armours. These used to sell for way way way more than they do on this server. Heavy armour was like, 6k+ to a shop if I remember correctly. If Sam simply increased the sale price of standard items to shops/junk man a tad, I think it'd be perfect. I'm willing to bet more people are leaving because of no money rather than no drops.

Yes people are leaving because gold is stupidly rare and the people who are willing will just buy it for real life money... And this is ok apparently.

Too many gold sinks for the amount of gold dropping. Rather than make everyone suffer because some are botting why not punish the botters and cheaters. All your measures to deal with this is hurting more than the people you are aiming it at.

A server like this only comes once in a blue moon. You will be back once you played all the crap high rates.

Rates are fine, Im a noob and ive somehow managed to attain 1mil gold. That means you pro guys should have no problem.

As for people leaving, server is just evening out. 500+ on during the day is pretty damn good if you ask me

I like the server as it is. The only think that pissed me off was the fact that the gm's lowered spawns in Mizu, ruined the price of 'alot' of booty such as SpiderTooth & SpiderWeb and then also reduced drop rates.

Penalising low level players for booty farming is harsh considering the only other way to get gold at the moment is mining or questing.
I'm yet to find a good spot for cash hunting still - loosing so much gold in quests like RedMoonBlade & FateSword is a gut wrenching feeling knowing you spent a couple of hours to make that 400K lol ^^

Server counts always drop slightly after the initial launch "buzz" anyway. I like that u have to work for stuff. I would have preferred pots being slightly cheaper though, means I have to go farm some gold everytime I want to do a levelling stint and as a sin pre-mp eater I use so many pots. Maybe items and skills below 40 should be a little easier to come by too, to say most are lvl 40ish within a month. The drop rate of certain items should take into account theres a regular 500+ user count not 200.

People "leaving" isnt even happening imo..

Sure there will be players who have quit cause they cant hack a Low Rate, but every server since the dawn of time has a massive boom on launch, then the user count drops. ALWAYS. Its happened on every server iv played. No server maintains the numbers it gets on launch. This is the most populated server since euro, so **** knows what ur complaining about.

It is advertised as a low rate, and thats exactly what it is. If people dont like it and quit, thats up to them. But atm the masses are pleased that a Low Rate is actually that, and not a Med Rate.

People mentioning killing IWT's and getting Vio's, BIH etc... Remember that BDD came late in the game and these items weren't exactly rare then.

This server is just over 2 weeks old, if you killed a few IWT and got a few rares dropped, the server would be flooded within a week.

Think back to a week ago when people were complaining about magic shield not dropping and should be a shop item and now look at it. There's 6 or 7 people with it or even more. There's nothing wrong with drops or gold.
