People not connecting to my server

Ok ive known about this problem for a while, ive got a aol broadband 1meg connection, but i use a belkin wireless router :P ... this is my prolblem I can get people of my network to get onto server but no1 on a normal connection can, it comes up connection closed to outside users.. ne 1 got ne suggestions plz? Am i using the rong Ip or sumting or hav i not allowed some ports. please will some 1 help.. thanx

It sounds like a port forwarding issue. I've never heard of a wireless modem, could you go into more detail about this setup as I suspect its more likely you have a wireless router, in which case the config panel should be able to supply you with the tools to foward ports 3000,7000,7100,7200.

Yer i ment wiresless router soz ment put wire connection but wasnt thinking lol.. you might hav to explain a lil more to me lol im not as advanced on pc as u lol :P... where bouts is config panel n wot do i do once i found it lol ..would it be easier to add me to msn?

Do this:

1: go into command prompt (start - > run - type cmd hit enter)
2: type ipconfig hit enter
3: your default gateway ip is how you access your routers control panel via the web browser you use ex. internet explorer.
4: type in the ip in the web browser hit enter and if you're using a linksys router type in admin for the password no ID and hit enter.

Now you can figure rest out by yourself. Also wireless connection is to crap to host a server it disconnects way too much.

Nothing happens when i put my ip adress into ma web browser
