Pets..

I know a lot of wizzies on ere moan "wizzies don't need pets they level faster without blah blah blah" but alot of ppl choose wizzies for there pets, I for one did until i realized it was a complete waste as it takes an age to get them,, then once you do you have to go and level them for 5+ to make a real difference in there strength, by this time they are soon untaming and then you have to try and re tame them on a hunt,,

dunno if this is something that would be welcomed..or looked into but how about a Pet licence system it was used on another mir most ppl will know, where by u complete quest/challenges to obtain a licence to go buy certain pets which are then yours until u disconnect from server.. but u can go buy them back when ever u like. I personally liked this idea and used it all the time, along with alot of other players. I think it would be a good way to solve the pet problem with wizards along with taking money out the game and giving ppl a challenge on the way too..

Was like that on Euro, apart from if you had a wizard friend you can retame them that way (although there were times e-shock did kill a pet or two)

the untaming is totally unessesary really, you should tame them and then have them for the duration your logged on

lol "Easy" how is a wiz not logging off coz of pets any different to a Tao with lvl7 skeles not logging...(before you say it i know thats the perks of a Tao) but perks of wizards is to be able to tame pets and use them to assist leveling or bosses? . All im sayin is alot of wizards me included use pets and as it currently is set up its inpossible to get any let alone level them and hunt,

Because a) Brown frog spiders kick the living **** out of any level 7 tao pets and their tao and
b) you get ****ing 5 of them.

lol skele is a lvl19 skill? and brown spider frogs are lvl 42 to tame big difference? Im missing a brain lol no need to be a twat tbh just posting a idea.. dont like it then erm fk off? YES wizards get 5 pets and it takes a wizzard to lvl to 42 to get 5 "Brown frogs" as u say lol If u play a wizard ud know getting to 42 aint as easy as you think unless you have no life and play mir (which i dont) hence why id like taming to actually work to benefit wizzards like myself who dont have time to sit and grind out lvls 24/7

i think wiz have had a bum rap so far on this server, but pets is the wrong way to go.
look at all the good servers where wiz have rocked, it wasnt down to pets.

im not saying. sorting pets will sort all a wizards problems lol. im just posting an idea or asking if GMs could look into fixing pets for players like myself who like to tame pets, you would be suprised if taming was worthwhile the amount of wizards low lvl and high lvl who would get them..

On Euro both my Tao and wiz pets died every 2 hours when my dial up logged me off and i had to reconnect........things have moved on

Just don't play wiz on this server..... they have been completely nerfed into oblivion they cannot even do standard things wizzies allways do, for some strange reason Samuel doesn't regard wizzys as damage dealers lol...his idea of wizards is to go tame pets and solo with them he's clueless they have the lowest damage output, lowest hp, lowest bag and body weight of all the classes so yeh pretty much pointless best just to play archer like everyone else its a tao+archer server for sure.

Don't agree with buying pets nor pets till you log off but 4 hour duration would be nice or a repeatable daily quest for a pet tame potion which is on game shop?

Kinda agree to some of these points. I played wiz back on euro mir. Never tried any private servers but came to this server 4 weeks ago. Currently lvl 43...and feel quite depressed at the role wizards currently have. I have started to level an alt which is something i didnt want to do as i wanted to put all my time into one class. But until something changes i am seriously thinking of putting my wiz on the sub bench. Not tested the tbolt increase yet as im at work. But from what i've read it sounds like its not that impressive. Still, its a step in the right direction to look at fixing the class.
