Just wondering about the standing on the pets and if they die on logout.

Obviously keeping them alive has its benefits if you have a crash or something.

Wondering if a delay of say 15 minutes would keep pets alive? Or if they would be stored permanently until your next visit? Or if you plan on not having any saving at all?

It's not a suggestion or anything, simply wondering where it stands as I know it's certainly addable lol

As far as I'm aware they will not be saved on log out, however it wouldn't be a bad idea to save them for a few minutes in case of a server crash

They do not save, and lets not talk about crashes

may be one to keep in mind maybe like 2 min timer, just in case the people still on 56k dc

I guess it would be annoying if a wizard tamed 5 pets and disconnected. I was frustrated on other servers when I would level my skeleton to 7 and disconnect however leveling pet's on here isn't really that hard. We could discuss and possibly add in a timer for pets so that they survive for a small period of time.

To be honest if a wizard spends hours hunting for / taming 5 pets i think they should save on log, its only fair specially for any Virgin media user's they are so bad crash all time and sometimes its not just reset your router 2 minute job.

Is there not a way to save pets for say 5mins? Internets everywhere are constantly going up and down.
A short period where you do not lose your hard work would be in my eyes a good idea

Seconded. If there's no downside this would be a brilliant addition. Amount of times my net has literally blinked off for 10 seconds to come back up, I'm back in game after like 40 seconds and pets have gone. Most peoples nets are stable 90% of time but it's sods law d/c's happen while you've got pets.

(Not exactly a priority though so leave it til the servers out eh? )

of cos thay should die after dc. But 15min alive in case of dc seams really fair.
