Play R4C (Roll4Cash)

Hi guys,

So I had a bit of a thought and decided on an idea that I believe is quite good.

I thought to make a game where the player could potentially make money out the host, me (Roll4Cash).

Here are the rules:

1) You trade me an amount of gold you are willing to stake.
2) I group you and you type @roll.
3) If your roll is greater than 12 I will double your stake money and give it back to you.

It really is as simple as that, and lots of people have enjoyed it already.

I would like to be able to prove that I am trusted so am for now only accepted 20k stakes until I feel I am trusted enough to up the stakes.

I have had good feedback so far and hope that it can stay that way!

Problem with that is thy will not always pay up. I am guaranteed to if I gain enough respect.

No one will pay thoughj, hence why he takes the cash first.

It's like walking into a bookies, sticking a £20 bet on a horse but you don't pass the cash over until bet has lost - Would you actually go back to the bookies to give them £20? lol

It's all down to trust and getting a name for yourself. I believe this will work. Had good feedback already and noone is forcing you to be a part of it.

So any trust issue isn't a factor at all, couldn't a NPC be coded & scripted to play this game?

Would ruin the economy if a NPC was scripted with biased odds, looks like it'll be stopping soon anyway because of frauds coming in already !

+1 nothing like a Mir bookies, never seen this on any server tbh, even introduce a roulette table or summin, would be awsome!

That's actually a good point! However the NPC doesn't have to be used if one was made, if it turns out its not working out. People could always just go back to you. As said though it doesn't eliminate any trust issue. Hardly surprising someone is already mimicking you either, there's always someone trying to be a con artist.

Haha I like this, sounds fun already. To further add on this vision, it would be great if games like this could also be multiplayer to. It gives a social element which is always cool.

I'm not entirely sure why anyone would want to play this game at these odds? You basically have to roll a 13 or above out of 20 to win.. now correct me if I'm wrong but even in the worst casinos they offer 1 :1 on evens or odds, black or red? Surely a nicer set of odds would be 12 or above to win? You still make some cash, but seriously, people actually take you up on this? There is a saying a fool and their money are soon parted! anyone who likes gambling where the house are on a winner 3 to 2 (essentially he wins if it lands on 12 of the numbers, the player wins if it lands on the other 8 numbers) , really is pretty thick in my book. Nice idea, would have been much better if the roll could be made up to 50, then you could actually offer reasonable odds without ripping people off. Still, like you said, you aren't forcing people, so good luck to you.
