Hi, I've just started taking a look at the beta the server seems good, it feels faster to lvl than official mir was, Myself and a group are going to start either before or on server launch date. I was wondering, how much interest has ther been so far how many players do you expect to have playing? Obviously this wont effect us joining but the more people the better the overall experience.

They seemed to have a nice lil group i want to say 10 or so who played it right through the alpha for 6 months knowing it was going to get wiped.

Most other servers you see people would bounce on an alpha to get a feel for the server but wouldnt waste time playing knowing it would get wiped.

Due to this and updates/changes i reckon it will have a nice user count.

Thanks for the info, I was on over the weekend with between 20-30 others seemed ok, its very promising to know that more will play on release.
Is the exp rate in beta true to what the released rate will be? I saw some pretty high lvl players hanging out in BW which was nice too

It's double XP at the moment until the wipe on the 8th.

You get +25% XP too from joining the newbie guild too until lvl 22.

Exp is double in beta, expect half the speed at live

The rate is currently twice as fast as will be on launch, the beta has been running since the start of the year, so a fair few players have sank a decent chunk of time into helping us test it.. so yeah theres as few high levels about

Gotta say I’m looking forward to the release I’ll join the noob guild if I get an extra chunk of exp and take a better look around, but rest assured there will be at least 6 of us joining. Keep an eye out and say hi if you see me.

You can never tell how a UC is going to go for any server

Some Servers have a huge on launch and it sinks dramatically
others start lower and have increased due to peoples word of mouth.

However, imo, his server has huge potential and the UC will reflect that.

I have joined the discord group but a bit late it’s hard to read back on all the many posts but I’ll keep an eye on it. I’m already committed tbh so it won’t make any difference to me joining or not but it’s always better to have a big player base hopefully this one stays strong

Not everyone plays at the same time either, I had 600 accounts all in all, with a low steady count after the initial 120. I always go on the discord numbers now and half it...they have 545 now so my moneys on 272 players at launch

That sounds really promising hopefully the ‘why do people quit’ thread was taken into account so the player base doesn’t dry up over the first few months, ideally you want a crazy first few weeks as that’s where the fun really starts

I guess it's going to be as close to vanilla Mir as possible, so if you was bored on the original game then your going to be bored here.

Any development will be to the Korean Mir standard. I'm here for the original Mir experience without all the custom **** to keep people happy, nostalgia with a great experience like it use to be.

My bets on a good 300+ come release, maybe not on the night of going live but over that weekend it’ll be 300+ no doubt.

I don't have the time myself nor the dedication with a little 1 year old running around but i'll probably still play it in my little spare time I have as I enjoyed the bit beta I played.

Might still be worth fitting a few hours in here and there for the good old vibes Mir provides
