Playing about...

Just been playing about in Photoshop CS3 Extended the green one was done following a tutorial with some changes here and there but the blue was done completely on its own.

Both done using letters and Photoshops default shapes.

I don't know why but I don't like the first one. Maybe it's because of the green and also it looks kind of erm not made from the artists point of view. The circles on it i like because instead of them being perfectly shaped they are bent which adds character to them.

The second one I like a lot. the blue is a nice shade imo and the way you've use a comparison, the sharp edges squares with the smooth edged circles. The jigsaw like texture is well placed, if it had been all the way round I think it would have taken the effect away.

The Text on both just don't seem to look well imo and I'm not sure why, might be the font.

omfg, very nice i like them both specialy the lil pic in the first one, i like the edges of them they look transparent lol

You ever heard of the term "less is more", but yes you do have a point there is too much open space. Maybe just resizing it would be a good idea.
