Gold wipe is the worst thing possible.
What will happen to the people who have paid ££ for gold? lol
Its the individuals problem, they bought off the black market, by doing this it gives them a reason to bot as much as possible because they could easily make a days earnings with 5 bots if not more, this will only cause more people to bot
If there are botters then a Gold wipe is decent even though it will hurt me as I run a mining char woohoo. If gold is partially wiped then botters with loads of accounts will stay richest.

Granted I haven't read all of the posts on this thread but in fairness when im on my chestnut noob I don't respond when im hunting for it, and if I get pked I don't bother replying/stopping etc. If anything I find it funnier to not respond because people start saying stuff in the chat pms etc "botter ima get u banned" etc etc. Tickles me. Its like at work when im dealing with a mad customer complaint the calmer I act with them the more it seems to set them off. Great fun

Win/Winjust ran around mizu with my newbie archer, see atleast 3 bots... did the gold drop test... or they just like my 1 golds.. didnt respond to talk/hitting.. lol there be back soon once they realise they died..

how do u know there bots? i often run around on my noob chestnutting and dont talk :X
Really isnt fair. Super blatent. Sad I've bossed 4-5 hrs a day from 33-40 and made about 35m. Someone can just set their bot go out do their own thing come back in a week and have the same with with zero effort. Tbh I think tree harvesting should be different or something else should be required. Maybe make cash worthless and add new currency or take trees out and add cash cave scrolls to mobs/bosses. Maybe add a CR type room that randomly drops piles.
Its too late when u see certain people running around with 129m the economy is already messed up, a bot gives a player the funds to buy any item or any book, might aswell just buy it from the book shop, but then others grind hard for 1m while they just grind hard to level
it's why the team need to step up.. anyone with silly high gold needs investigating, if it's found it comes from a low level then instant ban, if you can actually follow where the cash goes, instant ban everyone.. you want this server to survive, sort this out now..

Tbh i'd have all skills and enough pot money to solo in pb/orcs. "goes to setup bot" seems legit.

exactly,buying this gold for £ is essentially funding server terrorism lol
The higher level i get the more and more gold is harder to come by. I'm having to hunt BC to make 200k to go hunting. Having a 'Gold Wipe' is ludicrous, these characters need to be found and deleted.
Maybe introduce a level cap in Mizu, Take away the chestnut and ebony trees from Mizu all together... after all it is only a start town.

the only way you'll stop people botting is by removiong chestnut tree's etc from game, why not just increase the money given from noob quests so people can actually make enough to get them by without it being exploitable, the problem is people who have botted now can not only afford anything in game but they can also push the price of items up by outbidding everybody, meaning the minute a super rare item drops nobody has a chance of buying it unless they bot for a week ! devs/mods dont even seem to fussed about something that is blatantly ruining the server and is not exactly a taxing thing to have to fix
