Poll Do You Think The Server Needs Rewinding?

People asking for rewinds not been on and gained exp or anything? just happy too loose time spent on the game so people loose some gold? when gm's could (hopefully be able to do this) just look through logs and see whos exploited and act accordingly. Rewind punishes everyone

Id rather the server was down for a day or 2 and they took care of the people that exploited it. Everyone wanting the rewind just wants the quick fix and dreaming of an exp boost when they probably didnt lvl all that much in the first place.

rewind give the server credability, and evens the playing field, everyone looses out on a rewind wether its 1% or 2 items or anything you have done, people dont ask for a rewind very often due to this but this is server breaking imo if not handled the right way which is to rewind the people who dont like it will leave, but a lot more will leave if not rewind. if people dont want the double exp fine take that away as well (knotty you happy then) then you lost all your so called lvls, items and have to do it at the same speed you did it last time :P

Everyone takes a hit from the people who exploited. Cause now all the prices have gone up. Meaning everything will be more expensive and the ones that didn't exploit will have to fork out more to get kit and luck.

People who exploit like this are selfish idiots. This is game breaking for sure, it's clear millions were made and I don't like that the people who exploited an obvious bug (if you say it's not obvious you're thick as s**t and should be banned for that reason alone imo) are gonna get away with that.

Agreed. EVERYONE knows that stuff like this can destroy a server yet they continue anyway, blinded by greed. If the server were to shut down (not that it will) because of this then I wonder how many of the exploiters would be happy that they had that extra few mill for a few hours before everything they worked for got deleted.

People made 15-20 mil from Shadowstep books and this was limited to 5 people, there were many more exploiting this making more gold, getting books and slotted items from mass drops.

But still I agree in terms of the Easter event, it lost players due to it and this will too.

The server lost a fair few people due to Shadowstep being in the easter egg/bunny drop files and then Sam denying it... This could be the final nail in the coffin for a few of the players.

I have to agree completely. This would be the nail in the coffin for me. I don't think saying "no game breaking items have dropped" makes sense as gold is the resource to buy ground breaking items. I think the only option is a rewind, maybe distribute exp scrolls or double drop scrolls (if they can be programmed) to everyone to use at their leisure, or don't, who cares.

Im sure BH will do what needs to be done, sort the problem and build on it. The 2.0 update (if it ever comes lol) will brings players back or too the game. Have faith guys!

5 people making 20m is 100m(not including the divas shins chm's etc...u cud make 300k in 30-40mins doing this...this was nothing compare that, this was restricted to high floors that nobody goes to thats why so few knew about it, I'd be happy if they just look at logs and take people's gold away, i levelled for about 5 hours yday in pb

The bottom line is, these guys will have spent the money in most cases, they knew an investigation was coming
everyone knew , it was common knowledge before the server went down.
So what do you do, you buy stuff

so it's been "laundered" already in effect.

What is the point of targeting single accounts ?
Do you take back items bought ? Do you take the gold from the innocent sellers accounts ?

That won't get the gold out of the economy now. It's in already and with the busy auction house it's passed through umpteen hands already

A rewind is the ONLY solution to the issue.

its certainly unfair not to rewind to all the honest players who pay their dues.
A massive gold exploit has been uncovered, a rewind is the ONLY sensible solution
just to the previous day at least.

to compensate everyone for the lost exp, just do a double exp session
it isn't rocket science and it isn't a terrible thing

mistakes do happen, the admin do a great job here, so I don't blame them.
but it's how you fix the mistakes that matters

ive done about 50 hours this week at a rough guess.
ask any of my guild mates

so yes, I do have exp to lose. Exp I won't get back as I'm back at work next week

but unlike some people, you included clearly, I'm happy to do that for the greater good

I spent the whole day lvling yesterday as well as camping a boss that made 15 mill item drops, double exp when i wont be on over weekend isn't really going to cut it tho the scrolls are a better idea tho but i can deal with lvling again... I'll be more annoyed at the fact yesterday was the 1 really lucky day i've had on the server on a day i logged in with 100k.
