Possible Stupid Request

hi sorry to sound like a noob but can some1 please put a step by step guide up to get you server up to testing stage.
I have read most of the threads and all the posts on them and there is nothing that helps us noobs with the beginning bit. i have tryed over and over again to do it by my self but i feel that i am banging my head against a brick wall. i will be the host for it aswell so im not 1 of these people that make a server and ask for a host, tbh whats the point lol
i am aiming to make a server where every1 can contribute to what will be on it. i just need to know the basics so i can expand my knowledge.

If some1 could do this for me it would mean a gr8 deal to me.

Its not stupid to understand, ur just 2 stupid to understand it.

We all started at some point and where also noobs to reading these guides, but we managed it with ease.

hey m8 go back on the link that farphit gave u AND look for LSguide it works realy and if u open it its more as easy to understand. sure its done for a 3.38 version not for a 3.55 or 3.56 version from cd but from my opinion its the easiest way to grap the files from demonic (LS3G-Chinese) here in forum than bring it running with the guide from Demonic LSGuide(u find at kaoris sigs or from the post from farphit) and if u had all done than u can update all to 3.55 version if u prefer that one all files like envire folder and so on u can copy to the new version maybe than u have more luck

iam to stupid to understand how to start a 3.55 server till today but i never spend really time for it till now the guides i havent understand also for 3.55

Instead of asking for another guide,
Why don't you tell us which step you are stuck at?
You should be looking at LSguide.zip - 1.32 MB

mhh now 3 ppl tell u u should use the LS-Guide from kaori self kaori did mhh u are sure u wanna make a server ?? or u hope one will make it for u ?

m8 trust me there is no way self if another make it for u u will loose without work if the server crashes and u have no idea how all fits together u can do nothin. u must make it by ur self or u have not enough knowledge for the future. as i said take ls guide and ls3g-chinese and kick the server world out and bring us a new one

yes i am sure i want to make a server. i have taken in what every1 has told me and i am doin just that. i dont want some1 to make it for me thats just a silly suggestion lol i want to bring a new server online that every1 will enjoy and want to keep playing. once i have got it going i will put a serevr advertisment up so people can see wat im thinkinf of doing and links to my forum will go up to but atm im going to take all the advise i can and get the server up x

Most of us that have started servers didn't go around saying, i cant understand the guides they are to complicated to read.

So please dont tell me to stfu, if you may have noticed im one of the few that has setup a server got it working and not had a single problem from it and you know why. I used that big button at the top that says search.

I followed the guides and got stuck on one or to things and guess what i used the search button. What i was trying to point out was that the guides are not that hard to follow and anything you get stuck on has ether been covered so many times, that you do get annyoed when people dont learn to use the resources they have availible to them and it also annoys mods as well.

We where all new once and ive stated above all you answers can be found from using the search button.

But as you've been told the LS guide is the most easy one to follow and not hard to understand at all.

Its called being a helpfull person and anyways you would have been sent a pm telling you to change it, so all i was doing was helping out a fellow server creator. But with attitudes like this, as i said to LEO i wont be giving out help towards people as its thrown back in your face.

And as for what ive said, im right on the mark. This is also called helping out, as ive seen from endless post from mods on here about people not using the search option before posting. But then again some of us actually know how to search correctly.

So that will be why there isnt a single post from me asking for help with creating a server.
