Update [Preparing the patcher]:

We have coded a custom patcher to provide us with a better mechanism for patching the client!

This patcher is designed with a number of scenarios in mind:

• Brand new install, just wack the patcher in a dir and let it do its magic.
  
• Patching an existing Chronicles installation (for updates/future releases).
  
• Patching an AceM2 client!!! Although we have changed a number of libraries in our client, we didn't want those who already have the old AceM2 client installed to have to redownload the client...
  
• Showing the available gates and if the server is online/offline.
  
• Showing the current player count.
  
• Providing you with news.

Original ace server was shanda based? And so is this, much like people would patch euro/korean clients for particular servers. As we are using these files also, it just saves people some time. : )
