Not seen it happening myself.

But supposedly people were filling their alts bags (Perhaps even new characters) to the limit, then clicking the tree for the present. It was then forced onto the floor, instead of in the players bag (Ordinarily the present was non-tradable). This then allowed the players Main characters to pick it up instead, effectively stacking up mounts of GG for free.

Sam had popped on and through GM shout, stated that a list of players is in his hands, and that bans will be dealt. I'd imagine this will be done after the Christmas period is over as they simply don't want to be working today (Understandably).

As for the present returning, no word was said and BH has said a couple of times, they aren't working on it today and will be looked into later on.

Have a good Christmas and I look forward to you exploiting noobs wasting all your hard work leveling for a stupid little bug.

I went on about lunch time and fixed and readded the present. Only thing left to do is to sort out the players who got nothing from their present while it was turned off (we have a list)

I agree a name and shame is a good idea, give us all a laugh at least to see who is actually stupid enough to do it..

Also gives you an insight into the players that will go out their way to actively try and find bugs to exploit.

Tbh banning them is pointless. The people who exploit like this are the same people that spend masses of irl money. So there fore banning them would do nothing but remove stuff for the people that play fairly... Ie. They would buy all the best items for their new characters... Again.

They will also a pay people to level them some new characters.

I can understand why they dont want to ban when they(staff) believe it's their fault for not getting it right but they should take a level off the naughty ones at least or something

I'd be surprised if the arabs were stupid enough to exploit it, it's not like they can't afford the potcash through the normal route is it.

My money's on the usual exploiters, i wont say who as i'll be labelled racist but we all know who the dodgey groups on this server are.
