Anyone know anything about printers?

Was looking at getting a mid-range one.

Want it to print, obviously, and scan. Also needs to be wireless but also wired.

I was looking at http://www.google.co.uk/products/catalog?hl=en&sugexp=bvec&cp=13&gs_id=2&xhr=t&q=kodak+esp5250&safe=off&gs_upl=&um=1&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.,cf.osb&biw=1920&bih=955&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=10465158521842322214&sa=X&ei=hXGMTuHeG4OfOtfAmNMF&ved=0CGEQ8wIwAA

Kodak ink is pretty cheap, also heard rumours its a bit of a con and their cartridges don't last as long?

I hate printers. They cause me all sorts of issues at work.

Stay away from HP, as they seem to cost a fortune in ink.

Got a HP atm, doesn't print like 90% of the time, then again it did cost like £15.

I've got a HP all in one, print, scan, copy, fax. Few years old now. It's always telling me that my cartridges need replacing because theyre warranty expired lol. Still prints fine but it means you have to press OK/ignore on it before it will print. Kind of annoying when my printer is downstairs and I'm printing from upstairs ¬_¬

Don't buy a wireless printer, as these cause a lot of problems on networks.

Get a wired printer which is connected to a wireless AP (This allows the printer to work as a wireless one, without all the problems you get with a wireless one), if your looking mid range then you need to be going with either HP or Brother. HP are better, as all it requires is a PCL drive (Which is a universal driver) and yes the cost of refills is exspensive, but this is the case with most mid range printers anyway.
