I'm waiting for the "care bear" comments to commence. Even though your right. Most of the server want to play a hassle free game. The odd mass guild cave fight between chars of similar lvl and kit. Only a small % are interested in actual pvp like u get in town. But cos most of those are are much more vocal on the forums they are the voices that affect any changes the server team (Sam) will make.

Im not interested in pvp. I just dont want classes being op so people cant defend themselves. Imo its more about being 2 shot in such poor kits. That is no fun for the player that gets jumped, it probably gets boring even for the player killing someone without a fight. Thats what true pvpers like,a good old scrap

you cant make the game around players that are not at the speed cap. that is just stupid, thats like saying "lets get people who lag all day to play and make the game balanced for them".
the game needs to be played by the people with best systems and connections so the testing can be correct, pvp is about timing. timing cannot be tested with lagg.
i am not at the speed cap so dont think i will be getting an easy ride.

Lol at some of the testers chosen, some of the clueless people on mir. Some however were a good choice.

Most people arent bothered about pvp and it isnt the main reason they play its a tiny part of the game.
Its always been unbalanced. Most servers its wiz being dominant. Sometimes theres bugs which benefit other classes, sins speed and acc, unbalanced plague and curse. Easy extra stats and luck can make a huge difference.
Balance it now but it will swing about as soon as anything changes or new things are introduced
my thoughts pre testing were made clear
its kinda funny the devs here say 'we want this server to be long term'
then say that 'less opinions is easier to manage', i.e. less time consuming. you dont have to review and change something so significant quickly. dont contradict your own philosophy with 'flash in the pan' changes.

Exactly, could have posted that myself, thank you. Number of times I was jumped when harvesting nuts or killing midboss that at my level wasn't easy, somebody comes and watches me and then strikes and in one hit I go down. Result I leave the cave and play elsewhere and after it happens more times, I stop caring about the server. I don't care playing around pple who I've never seen before, I've nothing going with them who drop me in one shot whenever they please and I don't even get a chance to react except RT whenever somebody comes into screen view.
