hey...im makin a new m2server.exe from the standard one...but when i looked at the bestguide.txt file that was posted somewhere else on lomcn, i noticed that when i get to step 6 on the marriage system is ses:

But Hex workshop will only let me search for one line at a time...is there a hexer that will enable me to look for the FULL string...and replace it with the new string...withoutout hours of ****ing about?

my suggestion is to search the first line of the search hex, and the last line, remember where the hex started and then highlight manually till the where the hex search ended.
after that put the replace hex all in one line in a txt file, this means that the example u posted should look like this: FFFFFFFF0E0000005BBAECC4EF5D3ABFC9CFA7C1CB2000FFFFFFFF0400000020BACD2000FFFFFFFF160000002CB4D3B4CBC0CDD1E0B7C9B7D6B8F7B6ABCEF72E2E2E000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000FFFFFFFF0C0000005BBAEC
highlight all the replace hex and copy it, go to the m2server and do: edit > paste special and choose CF_OEMTEXT.
NOTICE THAT IF A WINDOWS POPS UP ASKING TO INSERT A PART IN THE M2SERVER THIS MEANS THAT THE HIGHLIGHTED PART IN THE M2 DOESNT CORRESPOND TO A SAME LENGHT HIGHLIGHTED HEX COPIED FROM UR TXT AND THIS WILL MAKE YOUR M2 NOT WORK

or use ultraedit...... Hexing my server was is my first hexing I've ever done and I ust say using ultra edit was a piece of *alternate word for urine*.... really simlie and you can search a hughe string. The link is elsewhere on the site....
