Problem with map editor

when I open a map editor and change the map zoom to identify the mapping, the program crashes. My PC has 4GB of RAM and Nvidia GeForce 210 graphics card with 512MB dedicated.
Anyone know a solution? no way to see the maps without problems?

try running program as administrator sounds like you are either using it on windows vista or win 7

however ive yet to see a working map viewer/editor that actually shows the maps all i see on them atm is either black screen or red screen

in my case, the black screen was these two problems:

screen resoulution required set to 32bit.
turn on 3d accelerator.(only if you turned it off)

witch Map Editor you mean @Yolom ???? The Old one or the Illusion one ??

Hi, sorry for my absence, was on vacation. Use IlusionMapEditorV6 and V7, none of the 2 was able to open up the map. Pongo open map 0 and I get all black.
