Hi - I have been using the MSSE fine until I switched to Geoffs server files - now when I try to use the editor (on everything except drop tables tab) the following error appears and it crashes:

Run-time error '-2147467259 (80004005)':
Automation error
Unspecified error

I have checked the paths and all are correct.

Any help anyone can provide will be gratefully appreciated guys.

Many Thanks.

Thanks guys I think I know what I have done now - I havent changed the DB root directory in DB commander - not sure if this will have an adverse effect on MSSE but will try when I get home (Damn this having to go to work business lol)

Nope i deffo think its the unique indexes still. If your server runs then there isn't a problem with the BDE setup.

I can't remember, best just to it the way Jicaa described in his post:

This has been answerd many times, u need to open the std items in DB_Commander... then do the following
- Utilities
- Index Info
- Left Table
- Double click Idx
- Tick Unique box (dunno if this is needed tho)
- Press add
- the the green OK, button then it should save without hassle

re-download you mir server editor from leocrasher.co.uk and then follow all the procedures in your prefrences....and eh...also check over your mirserver, possibly something is wrong with your mir server editor opening em

Have tried all of the above and still this program doesnt want to work for me. Virtually at my wits end now. Frustrated as it worked perfectly before I upgraded my server files - now it wont even work when I point it to my old server files - bloody thing!! lol
