Problem with my server!

Hey i am running my server on windows vista with sql 2005 and for some reason i am getting this error my database is upto date!!

incorrect info in dbsrv.ini or !setup.ini as to the name of your db, or the account password you created

i have checked all that and all my info is correct im sure of it.

Hey sorry about double posting!!

Right i have foudn a way to stop the gate connecting and dis connecting by opening sel char gate before the dbserv gate However i still have the m2server error, i tired sql 2000 and the m2 loads fine but i get the gate dis connected gate connected error over and over. No matter what order i open the gates i get this error!

I know you cant use sql 2000 on vista due to this gate connected gate disconnected error but i still need some help with my m2server error i know its not the files as the m2serv opened fine with sql 2000

Please someone help me out !

for 2005 you need to use hostname or ip\SQLEXPRESS

try using that
