Processor running at 1000MHz?!

ok i flashed my bios but still it runs at 1000mhz ill put a pic of cpu-z on...
as you can see the multiplier is x5 which is the problem, and i cant change it because of the lock.

Well I just noticed your motherboard doesn't even officiaally support 200FSB processors...

i formatted my computer and i noticed as soon as i installed cs and played that it looked ****.
i didnt do anything wrong while formatting, so i dont know what could of caused this..

its not just cs, its wow also. Cs is on medium settings, 1024x768 etc and shouldnt have any problems.
the point is i need to increase my multiplier back to 11 instead of 5, but i cant because amd lock their cpu's now (and i dont want to use the pencil method of unlocking it) just wondering if there is any other way to "re-clock" my cpu?

I would have placed around £50 that you havent correctly set the multiplier on your motherboard (however you say it used to run at the correct clock speed), if you have your motherboard manual there should be information on the mulitplier's jumper settings there. If you dont i suggest you find the model of and look on ASRock's website for an electronic manual.
The moral of this story is: dont buy taylor made computers (especially not ones with ASRock motherboards!)
If the problem pursists i suggest you invest in a new motherboard (and case if ur board is not full size ATX). The Gigabyte GA-7N400 Pro 2 (Rev2.0) nForce2 Ultra (Socket A) Motherboard does my AMD Athlon xp3200 justice, and can be purchased here: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Gigabyte_Socket_A.html

Abit NF7-S 2.0, most solid built AXP motherboard out there. Though I do doubt it's a jumper problem, if he didn't change anything and suddenly it changed.

im buying a new board and upgrading my processor while im at it, serves me right for getting someone to build my computer when i should have done it myself, ty for the help guys.

Right, im not any good at hardware but maybe i will be able to help. Well my computer is quite old, so are most of the parts. I had a problem once with my computer that suddenly after a restart it wouldnt start up at all. So i called the guy who sold me the computer (works for the local internet provider) well he told me that i just need to reset my motherboard settings, as the motherboard that i have had the problem that it after some time messed up the BIOS settings. Well i know that you can overclock your CPU using the BIOS so maybe it has underclocked your CPU? In my case the problem was that the FSB speed settings got messed up and because my MB is quite old it couldnt even take the speed of the CPU (my CPU is actuly a 1,5 Ghz but it is underclocked to 1,2 as the MB just cant take it and crashes). So maybe all you need to do is reset the BIOS settings? But well as i said im not really any good with hardware so i suggest you wait for Urbanfox to reply and tell me if my post makes any sense or is total B/S.

i know how to fix it, my MB has a manual mulitplier changer, but apparently changing it could make it unstable.
Anyway i think ill just upgrade my cpu anyway, although im kind of annoyed that i got screwed over on the MB part. I think its time for a phone call to the builder.

Upgrading a 3200+ will require you to get a new motherboard. If you have flashed and reset and BIOS I don't know what to suggest. If you don't mind paying the extra £££ I'd definitly go for a s939 Athlon 64 system, if not replace your existing Socket A motherboard with the one Wittin suggested.
