If your with NTL you can do this:

*Pick up phone*

*Dial NTL Number*

'Can i have Static IP Please11!!one'

*Hands 5 pounds*

*Hangs Up*

AMG STATIC IP!!!

Basically Spence, you will need to contact AOL and ask for a static IP. A 20second google search didn't tell me if it would cost or not.

There is NOTHING you can do on your end to get a static IP. Perhaps a dynamic DNS address would be suitable? (ie, leocrasher.myftp.org always points to my IP even though it changes regulary).
