Got 1 question, lets create a little scenario.

2 guys both level to 60 together helping out, as soon as they hit lvl 60 they have 0 battle points, so 1 guy lets the other guy pk pk pk pk pk him for 10 days straight, allowing him to build up his battle points & get uber items. For the next 10 days they swap rolls, and so on.

How will this be prevented?

As I've said in the main post.

"Each time you kill another player, you will gain Battle Points, and each time you die, you will loose Battle Points."

You can't loose points, if you don't have them to loose.

We are woking on sorting that out atm, as Wond said we havent done any testing yet..

As for everyone going warriors... class's are going to be as balanced as possible, toa's arent going to be tanks but at the same time not going to be a weaker class.. Curse will not own the server.. Wizzy as usual has a good chance of beating a war or a tao used properly and wars will do there usual stuff.

I am just working on lvlin rate atm to make getting 60 a slight challenge...

Tis all good nehow, just killz ne1 in your way lol

Only thing im worried about is Tao's, this is a pvp server after all. lol

Each class should have their pro's n con's ^^

I know that, it's just im concerned about what they decide on doing, im sure theyre smart :P I mean usually a warr owns hand to hand, but is weak against magic. wizz owns long range yet if they get hit theyre pretty screwed, Tao's well, theyre sposed to have pets n all but, along with curse, can own both at the same time lol.

It's usually the tao's that cause problems on servers =/

Sayin that, im sure they know what theyre doing ^_^

Ye well since its a PVP server we are looking into balancing classes the most.. Tao's will be good but will not win hands down... each class will have pro's/conns, they will have pets + curse.. but curse is gonna be capped as Wond said, which will make it harder to curse, and the strength of the spell will be worked for a fair time to kit balance, i was thinking of givin War+Wiz lvl 1 puri as it would make it fairer having the chance to run again for at least 2 secs :P, not so much with wiz but mainly war.

Very true, puri would be a good idea but deffinatly cap it..

Unless curse sucks too much.

Also, will you be able to purchase BattlePoints for gold? wudnt be a bad idea make gold useful i spose.

Tao's are piss to own if its all fairly balanced...

The problem with Tao's in PvP, esp in Priv servers, is because people decide to give them high SC stat items, making there attacks, poiaon and curse stupidly high makes it impossible to even get close to killing them (Unless a war gets a lucky para shot).

And people also decide to let them have 2/3 stupidly strong pets. Pets should not give much of an advantage on a tao, just a helping hand.

Curse is also a problem, but I know thats been sorted as we speak.

yes i totally agree pets should have low atk but high def. thing i hate about tao's even though they can get pritty good ac they still run like a fart i can understand wizards doing it but tao's have def spells and many more.

Tao's will not have crazy high SC, and virtually no base SC 15 max i think.. pets will be balanced and tested with poison to see how much they hurt... trust us we will do our best to sort out the tao class especially, being a big pvp'er myself i know all the problems as does wond that comes with the Tao class

As for BP for gold, we dont want to make that a feature, yes it would be an idea to make use of gold but we will find something to make use of it... Orbs will be hard to get so they will make good use.
