New Ip = 172.212.30.145

when he blocks port 6k it blocks the char db 2 ....

Why doesn't he block port 6000 and change the port the DBServer uses?

tak it he blocks it throught windows firewall on SP2 by blocking DB Server? thats wat i did wen i hosted, everything worked fine oO. Its way tht TheBoss said he uses, so i gav it a shot wen i hosted an works ok. Just need to make sure he has blocked right thing and all should b fine
