Prventing cheats

hi, i have looked at a cpl of pservs and seen that there iis n exe in client calle ##protect. how do i het this and setit up as i have browsed the net ant cant seem t find it, failing that is there any ways of helping to cut down n cheat attyempts?

You will find that most cheats are also VERY Stupid. Just see the screen shots of Yunie saying he doesn't cheat on another thread (Screenies had the cheat running).

Just follow a couple of people around, and it will be almost immediately obvious if they are using external cheat programs. You will also be surprised (or maybe not) to see that they talk about the cheat programs all the time, and ask each other if they are running it at the moment or tell each other what chance the current book they are translating has of success etc. Cheats are quite easy to find..

There are a few that are crafty enough (and intelligent enough, but not many in this category) to hide it, and those are the ones you need to worry about, but luckily they are VERY few and far between.

Watch for false accusations tho lol, iv played a few servers and been accused of cheating coz it looks like i hav auto run on, im like 99% sure its something to do with my connection. Propberbly coz my gf was playing as well and makin my connection really slow i dunno but its not nice being accused lol.

There are no false accusations if you know what you are looking for. When someone runs through MS while being struck by countless Tele mobs, and they don't stop.. thats cheating.

Theres also 1 where if you attack at the same time as you get para'd (It does happen quite often on Avenge lol) then you will have to finish your attack before the para stops your character. Some cheats use this as an excuse to get out of it, cause it does happen and quite often so it usually works.

I found one of this happen to me when a warr hit me 8000 damage on my shield while I had only 4000 hp and i had survived the hit very weird. I think it(mir3) only displayed the damage as if I got no shield on or he miss the 2nd BS and I only got hit from the first one for 4000 dmg. Another one is if you are a warr and you use assult 2x on someone, he will get paralyzed indefinitely unless he logs off.

A lot of the cheats are actually written into the clients, people use external programs to access these.

i was on masters bout half hour ago i found this VERY funny i layed a few tempests down and a certain someone called eragon ran str8 thru my tempest and hit me whilst not getting hit which lets me to takin a few screenies of it as he said he never cheated lol

The assault bug is you assault someone then you shoulder dash them. that is constant para. You just take your robe off and put it back on to cancel it
