Havnt liked MGS since number 2.
PlayStation are awful consoles, but they dont break as often as xbox :S.
But back to the question, how many people on here have ps3? im thinking of getting one myself, for 'Mag' thats coming out.
How can you not like MGS, it was the first to use scene rendering on location and intergrates the full complexity of image shading for the game.
Its by far one of the best Action/Shooters on a single player platform.

GOW and COD keep me happy, sorry for being ignorant. When i was a child i could play it, but its just too boring now :S Geuss i dont like the whole stealth thing.
Have to agree with mapdale i sold my 360 elite after a few months.
to get ps3 n mgs it was fukin amazing game lookd great n everything.
online was great.

I i got 1 1st time around payed £550+ bout 3 weeks later sold it for £295
cus there was no games n tho it was sht. got 360 for 3rd time.
played tht got a load of games. then 1 day seen mgs in game so sold ma elite think it was bout 220 240 or something. got msg fifa 08 n mgs.
loved mgs was a really gd game.then started t like ps3. aint long just got
a norm 360 t play fable 2 on it. atm no stuck on fifa 09 on ps3 love it
ps3 vs 360 ps3 online is free u dnt get this deadring thing going around
doesnt *** up ur disc when playing as much as 360 n doesnt cost u a bomb in batterys. think myself looks beta t
i dnt see y microsoft sony n nintendo dnt go together n make 1 ownage comp ;p

I don't know really, this is just from a personal perspective. I had a ps3 and xbox whilst in a uni house and I found 80% of the time we would play the xbox online.
And this thread is kind of an example. I don't even know what a ps3 gamertag looks like, but I see xbox ones all over the place.
All my friends have xbox's and only one has a ps3, perhaps this isn't the case in general I don't really know...
Most people have xbox's because of the price difference when the consoles first came out. I've played both and I can easily say the PS3 is a better console all round.

Its hardly 'nothing', the xbox may have more players but are you trying to tell me you wont get a game within seconds on the PS3?

If you cry about batteries, get battery packs or if thats too much money for you simple buy wired pads in the first place. Play Station controllers are crap in my opinion, dont like the analogue sticks. Mag looks like an awsome game, which would be the only reason i would buy a ps3.
Overall i probs only like my 360 cause all my friends have them. Not sure about this, but i heard the 360 games get updated much faster than the playstation version of the game. My brother loves Sony consoles so im probs gna be playing one at cristmas, so ill tell you what i think then. :P

I play a X-Box 360 and wounder wtf am doing, i play a PS3 and love it, next day i go buy one and still loving it til this day.
Sorry but the PS3 is a much better console all around, reason X-box is more popular is because it's been out a lot longer then the PS3 and it's cheaper.
I have only recently started playing it online and it's great, i never played the X-Box 360 online tbh so i can't comment on that.

I dont want to have to pay for battery packs nor do I want wires lying around my room. The PS3 controller is a much better controller all round as far as gaming goes, the 360 controller is good for FPS games but other than that its rubbish.
Anyway, I've already pointed out the 3 main reasons why the PS3 pisses all over the xbox, but heres two more;
MGS
Killzone 2
XBOX 360 is the all round online gaming machine, but thats all it is and online gaming machine - It was designed purely for the intention of online gamers for PC.
PS3, come on does anyone really need to explain this one. Sony have always been the market leaders in relation to consoles and with the PS3 it out flags the XBOX 360 by far, yes the 360 may be the online gamers prefrence. But when it actually comes to graphic enhance ment and game play the PS3 kicks the 360 all over the place.
MGS is a prime example of this, it use's upto date rendering and shading.
Sony will always out perform on the hardware side of things with their consoles and always will.
XBOX was and always will be the microsoft poor baby of the console world and really they should have stuck at operating systems, instead of trying to corner the market with a console.
Both have there good points and both have there bad points.
But for me PS3 always wins, I'm only buying a 360 so I can play Halo 3 online with my mates.
