Punishment for caught cheaters.

This is a democratic comunity right? Players are allowed to bring up suggestions and some aspects of the server have been changed due to peoples views. I think as others in the past have been given another chance when caught using cheats why shouldn't the recent offenders be treated the same? People, like Titan have lost something they put time and effort into because of a mistake. No ones perfect are they.

Im sure they new the risks when they decided to use one in the first place.

so you take the levels/ gear off them . within a week will have been boosted back up to 40+,Thats not really a punishment

Sounds like you or your friends got banned.

A mistake? They knew exactly what they were doing. If you got caught drink driving do you think the police would let you drive on and say "lol its ok you just made a mistake". Get a grip.

These guys arent new to mir or to private servers. They knew what they were doing wasnt allowed, and also teh concequences when caught.

Straight out ban.
As much as i dont like to see the population drop, less people to fight, i prefer to fight on even grounds.

As thread maker, you should sit back and butt out. You made this thread to see what the populations veiws are, not to try and enforce your (bias/blinkered?) veiws onto them.

He's right though... Cheating is not allowed, there are many warning ingame and on the forums. You used them, got caught and got banned - it's not a mistake.

No it isn't.
MIr servers never have been. Especially private mir servers. People get banned for arguing with the gms someplaces.
Everyone knows the score they've all been playing for years. They know whats cheating and the penalty.
PLus anyone who advertises how good they are because they cheat- nuff said really

anyone caught cheating is banned immediately and permanently. After all of this time people know exactly what they are doing. Funnily enough it's the same old faces, just a different server. If you actually had a list of server characters, gave it to someone who has been playing mir all this time, I dare say they could highlight at least 20 names they recognise who will be cheating. That's the problem, I've never known a cheat to stop, ever, it's like they can't help themselves.

The whole point of a Poll/Discussion is to make the team aware of what parts of thier player base think and/or want.

It doesn't say what they should do, but they can look at it and see what they could do.

unban the cheats , and you may as well just let everyone carry on doing whatever the **** they want.
