Pfft, im fed up reading posts bout "why is som1 made admin/smod just cos their m8s, ive been here longer" ect, lets put this into perspective, la la la ooo, i found a diamond worth £1,000,000 (dont bother sayin diamonds not worth that much cos im using it as an example) damn i gotta go pee and i got no pockets, now what would you do, let your m8 who you know look after it or go up to a complete stranger and get the stranger to look after it, chances are your m8 will be loyal and the stranger will run off,

point of story: you have to trust people to get positions, you trust your friends, you dont trust people u dont know simple as.

But yes, i have said to many moaning people that all the staff (Well most of the old admin/smods) were best mates in r/l (NeoPuma - Lionheart - Dataforce - Stonehelm - etc..) all came from Wales.

That way you can trust them

erm, im one of the ones who mentioned it and in reply to EE post.

Lets use another example, youve got your £1,000,000 diamond and you can keep it at ur house or it will get stolen do you

1) Give it to a known person to look after, i mean they can steal it as ur giving it to them, adn they can legally do that

2) Give it to some unknown idiot, like say erm.... a Bank, who are unknown but are highly trustworthy and capable of the job.

yes its a good idea to use friends on here becuase they are more trustworthy, and thses examples cant fit well to be honest. BUt the problems arising when firends cant do a job, or arent ready for a job, but get left there becuase of friendships. Ive sat and watched Blaminator and Newblood work their asses off on here, and hate gets the position of Co-Admin, ive got nothing against hate and im sure she can do the job, but Blaminator and newblood have done a lot more.

some valid points here, i know people moan and say they trusts there friends better but and ill use a server as an example -

Server has 3 gms all bets mates in real life one does sumit wrong the others wont boot him as hes there mate so he gets away with it and it keeps going.

but someone who isnt your best mate, and you know can do the job wont do that or you can be sure he wont if u stop him.

A friend will always get away with more asnd useually do a worse job.
