Hey guys, I thought I would ask the questions all in one place and see if we can get a few answers regarding where the server team stand on certain thoughts.
It would be great if you could find time to answer these questions and having them all in once place will be good for people who do not wish to read the pages and pages of debate.


How is the Archer skill change testing going, Have you encountered any bugs or possible unbalancing, when do you think we will see these changes implemented? (Roughly)

How is the Monk testing going, do you have any plans to increase the number of testers, when do you think we will see the Monk launch? (Roughly)

MagicBooster, there have been a number of good posts for and against a magic booster change, Sam once mentioned an MP consumption change, is this the only change the team are considering? when will it be changed? If you are considering other changes what are those changes (if you are willing to share) when can we expect to see this spell change or be stamped down and confirmed to not change?

Warrior attack speed, this has been a debate since the beginning of the server, again with great posts for and against any change. you guys have hinted in a few posts that you understand that a.speed8 on a warrior is really pushing the boundaries of melee class balancing but have never confirmed either way. Are there any plans to cap the warrior aspeed or increase the assassins cap?

50 Weapons, Have you considered that using a blanket % based increase from the level 43 predecessor offers another balance debate, Taking the melee items into example, the 43 weapons had a 25% difference in top end damage, the 50 weapons now have a 34% difference(meaning that the warrior item is a better upgrade than the sin one for that level). I can imagine that revisiting the stats again would not be the best for keeping face but can you take this into consideration for any future class specific items? perhaps including other stats if the damage itself is going to keep increasing. such as acc/slow/aspeed-aspeed..

50 Armors It was confirmed that the 50 armors would be getting a stat boost, when can we expect to see the revised stats ingame? will there be craftable ones ontop? (Can I suggest putting them at level 51 if you do for an extra goal) If you already know, what stats will both varieties have?

Defensive stats With the growing damage ingame there have been many discussions about negating or reducing some of this damage, aside from the new sebuk system that will be able top trial certain "mods" like higher HP pools, reduced damage by 50% and the like. Are there any current plans (aside from 50 armor stat boosts) to increase defensive stats in some shape or form?
Please bare in mind that TwinDrakeBlade ignores all armor with one of its strikes. any defensive boosts should ideally reduce damage received at the end of the damage calculation rather than increasing current ones that are ignored completely by certain skills so that the reduction works across every class to offer balance.

ProtectionField - was a spell designed for PvE, Increasing AC (that other warriors ignored with TDB) to reduce damage. The spell has been highlighted in the past as being one to watch for becoming overpowered against assassins. It can already negate a decent amount of damage however its not currently a big issue. However with the talk of increased defensive stats please bare in mind that this spell work on a percentage rather than fixed number so continuously gets better with each item equipped. Are there any thoughts to change the percentage into fixed numbers or to introduce a cap? (same applies to rage)

Sebuk - How close to being complete is this? I appreciate complete > implementation has no set time frame but is it still being worked on or is it ready for final stages of testing and implementation at the right time?

(edit) Ranged Turtles - They currently hit hard and paralyze, With the sunpot delay 1 paralyze can be the end of an Archer with its low HP pool, are there any plans to make this ranged mob hard hitting OR paralyzing instead of both?

If anyone else wants to add more that would be great, ideally keeping the questions as neutral as possible just seeking answeres rather than offering opinions, (i've tried so hard not to offer my opinions)

Raz in a non nasty way please shut up... Your aiming all your warrior nerfs because you cant kill them on a sin clearly, pro field on here is fine, it doesnt even give base ac like it used too... Aspeed on warriors once again, people pay 100 odd mill to have speed/dc good on them, you have aspeed 8 on a sin for free and only got to concentrate on dc/slow... Warriors also have to stack acc just to fight sins, so sorry but please stop being the annoying tool you are and trying to get classes nerfed for your benefit... Gm's will probably agree, at least my class moan thread wasnt buyist and was on a whole. Warriors could get max aspeed on euro, as they can here so give up and learn to play your sin.

Btw who is raz ingame somebody?

**edit** also noticed most your pointers have sly digs at warriors. Sins and wars are fine, its archers and taos that need buffing in ways, and wizards that need knocking down a notch x

Where are the good posts against MB change? i aint seen one good valid point.
Making it consume more mp does not address it being OP.
Cap at 8-8 will fix it, and is still a very nice boost.

All i see from Op is tears, he's slow, gets hit by everything and only plays PVe, you'd be better off asking for SZ caves....TLTR?

Considering everyone that has trolled has also posted opinions on some if not all of the questions asked would indicate that you are interested in the final answers and thus leave your trolls completely pointless but crack on if it gives you joy.

Regarding the warrior comments - this is basically just another petition from KylerStern to have every class except sin nerfed, and have sins buffed.

No disrespect dude but you aren't exactly a pvp god - blame it on being slower than everyone else or whatever if you like - and it's high time you stopped trying to nerf every single aspect of the game just to compensate for your own incompetence. That's not meant to be offensive but this is all getting really, really tiring now.

Agree with the above on this one, happily let tori and me test infront of gm's as we have same kinda kit and luck7 and it'll be 50/50, no unbalance at all between sins, then can solo alot more bosses than other classes, shadowstep places alot quicker and easier, have a hide spell etc, more do you want kyler? To have sick damage to? Which you already have.. Gets boring only class that needs sorting at moment is wizards, and taos/archers buffing up a little.

This has been mentioned by many people, not just Kyler.

Aye this does need addressing.

I'll be honest though, I think sins should always be hitting faster than warriors, regardless of if you can get a kit up. Warriors as it stands can hit the same speed as sins and have better single-target damage hit-burst, as well as 2x the healthpool. Currently, in a NON-slow-kit if a warrior and a sin toe to toe each other in their best of DC gear the sin will never win, ever. The only thing that effects this is slow, in which case whoever gets the first slow proc wins.

Currently, the A.speed cap in the game is 7 (it's not 8) so if you've got 7 a.speed on a warr, you're good to go. To fix that you'd need to make the a.speed cap 12 and buff sins a.speed buff to 12.

This would mean if you want max a.speed on a warrior you absolutely should be sacrificing DC (smash set). As it stands, with storm gems, you just don't need to do so and even if you go full +2a.speed on everything with a smash set worn, you'll still only be a.speed10 so you're 1 tier of speed below a sin.

This won't happen though. Currently a sin in pvp is a redundant class vs the 2 current dominant classes (warr, wizz) but is quite literally the best class for bossing.

My advice to sins is, keep your sin for bossing and start kitting out a warr/wizz.

If it doesnt tori thats fine and understandable... But hes mentioning capping warriors aspeed, nerfing spells on them etc.. If there not hitting same speed then thats different, im all about balance.. But hes clearly trying to get wars nerfed.

Regarding asking for nerfs I have not asked for any nerfs above. I have asked what the team plan to do with the threads created previously where no solid answer has been given.

Id also like to point out that with things being "balanced" at the moment as many people do claim, then that also backs up a number of the points made that the growth potential of some of the skills will unbalance the classes and should be considered going forward.

A prime example are the 43 weapons with a 25% difference in top end DC between war and sin - these have been classed as "balanced" therefor a 25% difference in dc is balanced...
So at 50 where that difference grows to 34% this MUST be unbalanced if 25% is balanced.. no?

I am not trying to nerf anything to improve my abilities with any of the 5 classes that I play. I have never been and will never be good at pvp and have never claimed that.
I also consider PvE, seems the majority of people do not.

No offence taken, I appreciate your short sighted warrior greed and take it for what it is.

Peoples inability to see where progression of stats at the current margins will leave the game balance surprise me.

may as well delete this thread as it seems the Team aren't interested in a Q and A session.

Kyler you dont like it make a warrior and suck on that too, u claim its balance but your always having sly digs at nerfing them in sly ways. Your boring you suck pvp, pve sins own wars dont. No issue other than they should hit same speed.... Just another cry thread. Like yday when u tried get me.. You ss'ed 10 spaces infront of my dash, l2play ur char first x
