Why has everybody seemed to conveniently forget that Kori admitted to cheating. No further evidence is necessary, he admitted using one macro in defence of using another. Either way, even if you believe him, he was cheating.

Everybody knows friends and pressure on Sam got him unbanned, a completely ridiculous decision, but carrying on an illogical defence when he admitted it himself just makes you look like a massive bellend.

lol.

Christ. Im on a phone so i'll keep it short.

PA is **** on here. Also if warrs spec PA they lose attack speed. Same reason most cant spec slow and PA. If only there was a class that could have all 3 at once...

Sins have an agil spell and can spec agil which has been proven to be highly effective. Again, i'd swap pro field for agil any day because whats better than reducing the damage from a melee hit by 12-ish (max)? Avoiding half or more of the hits completely. I suggest you invest in some agil.

Seriously, get tori to demonstrate his agil kit to you sometime, which he also happens to be able to wear at the same time as his slow5 kit. Ive tried fighting him in it and suffice it to say i'm yet to come out on top after one of these encounters. In fact he's cost me several stones, including a holy a couple of weeks ago :(

Having played both an end-game warrior and an end-game sin, I can comfortably say my Sin with agil 35 with Crystal Armour on as well, was still screwed when up againt a high DC/speed warrior. Because end of the day you're playing an RNG game - something Jamie kept telling people when he was playing a sin. When the warrior eventually gets 2 consecutive hits off, the sin dies. No exception.

Most of the people commenting have probably never played a sin and don't know how it feels. It's quite a disturbing feeling knowing that you're either a god or dead in 2hits based on complete rng. AC however doesn't have that issue, as kyler mentions it's just an ever-growing buff as time goes on. Consistency is very important for pvp. It gets worse when you put sins up against a wizz, but I think everyone feels that frustration atm =)

I don't play any more so I couldn't care less what happens, but there is certainly a lot of unbalance in the current state of the game.

Doubleslash is 'designed' to hit speed 8. The animation for it takes too long a time period to allow this, so the sins lag behind what they are ABLE to hit. Changing the graphic will allow them to hit the same speed as a warrior.

Plain boring thread, oh im a sin and i cant faceroll like a warrior with a well better kit than me. I get aspeed and green poi and invis and teleport for free but thats not enough for me i want to hit faster and harder than warriors with all that ontop.

Omg profield is so op it gives you AC fml! Ill ignore fact i get loads of agility free! Omg give me more AC.

Omg i tried to 1v1 toe to toe a warrior and died, must be some sort of bug and sins are underpowered, cant be fact im just **** and he might have a better kit than me.

such a boring thread you cant stay away. good effort.. shown up..

I'm not saying take pro field away.. i'm saying that it should perhaps have a cap (one that noone has reached yet) to not effect current play but to future proof it becoming overpowered.

If LightBody gave an Agil % instead of a fixed number then this spell would also end up being overpowered as the kit and game progresses.

CitRix were you testing aspeed 7/8 with TDB or standard hits?
Perhaps TDB cant keep up with speed 8 either but is slightly faster than DS.

But sins don't hit faster than wars, so should we have the same DC on that "logic" of yours?

But I agree, sins should be faster wars should have higher dc..

Then how on earth can you be complaining about the future potential of pro field when sins can ALREADY get enough agility to mean most warriors miss half the time? Do keep up.

Yes its 12ac now, but even if that rises to 15 (which would require another 14 or something AC from items, which isnt happening any time soon) thats still only going to negate a maximum of 12 damage a hit, and sins hit twice with each swing.

What sins and warriors are you comparing? And why are you just focusing on dps here and choosing to ignore the other points about agil/slow/poison sword/shadow step/ghost/backstab? Not only do you want lots of cake, but you want to eat it too. Which means you'll get fat. And then you'll have fat fingers. Which means it'll be harder for you to constantly bleat on all over these forums. And we don't want that do we?

How are you counting the hits when LCD tested?... just curious?

If citrix used luck 7 with speed 8 and 7 and got the same damage output surely that means he was hitting just as fast within the same time gap :/ how can that even be argued?

Hi server team please can we cap warriors AC please can we also cap their DC please can we also cap their attack speed. Also can we cap their HP please as currently i cant faceroll every warrior i come across as a sin. Can sins also have some sort of spell that pulls any warrior towards them cos currently SS is useless.

Hey look kyler, i can predict the future too!

This entire thread was brought up 1 year ago when many people could see that warriors were going to make Sins redundant period, it was just a manner of time.

The speed change would help, spd 6 max for wars spd 10 for sins. However it is merely stat allocation because you will end up with 2 classes that are the same. They NEED to introduce new skills and use the opportunity of new skills to balance the classes in unique ways. This adds intrigue and uniqueness to balancing the classes.

Sins hit twice with each two swings (doubleslash)

Warriors hit twice with each one swing (tdb).

This is, essentially, the problem that kyler's trying to explain (along with other stuff that to be honest isn't even the issue with sins). Even at the same A.speed, warriors aren't forced into an unneeded animation.

In a PVP being able to move is really important. When you shift swing as a sin but miss the target, you swing twice no matter what rooting you in place for that second swing. A warrior however swings once and if he misses can instantly start running again.

I found even as one of the fastest in-game when playing a sin it was ****ing annoying missing a warrior only to have him also miss, but he readjusts during the time my animation is finishing and hits me back.

I can only imagine the horror kyle has to put up with, him being slow n all.

No player will ever agree that their class have some form of an advantage or is OP, the problem is you need non biased players who actually want to help balance the server.

Also regarding A.Speed, wasn't it halved from the usual? If so then you should not notice a difference between 7/8, I actually found that 14 was the fastest I could be on other files, So if it is halved then 7 is actually the cap, not 8. However the coders say 8 is the cap, and they have the code to prove it.

Tbh I can't even toe to toe a sin in equal kit to me because agi/slow makes them near impossible to hit, I dunno what all the moaning is about. Yes there may be a problem with sin speed but it isn't severe, every class has it's good and bad points.

If any class needs attention it's Taos.

Either using a trainer hitting for 1 min then dividing the total damage and average damage or just counting the hits. Really quite easy.

here's a question for you.

Do you think Warriors should kill single target mobs FASTER than a Sin, given that the Sin was advertised as the highest single target damage melee class?
Because at the moment, They Can and Do.

in case you missed it the first time Jel?

If your only argument is that sins are OK if they gear 100% to fight against a warrior then well that is just missing the big picture. The big warrior kits are good for everything the specific kit your talking about is only good for fighting warriors or sins. The sin agility doesn't help against archers, wizards or taos or the entire rest of the game. The slow is good but not exclusive to sins and is a sacrifice of DC just like it would be for a warrior.

Get a sin killing kit (80/90 AC) and then laugh while you auto pot there damage. If you want to argue about making a specific kit just to fight 1 class.

The OP is arguing OVERALL game balance not just the narrow view that your on at the moment.

Some of the speed items were halved:

Gale Rings : Speed 2 on euro - Speed 1 here
Gale Necklace : Speed 4 Euro - Speed 2 here

Smash Set Bonus : Ring/Brace - Speed2 Euro - Speed2 here.
Dsword Speed 2 Euro - Speed 2 here (twice as effective here)
Black DSS / Zuma Mace - Speed -2 Euro - Speed-2 here (making them doubly ****).

I mentioned this towards the start of the server, trying to bring everything into line, though nothing ever got looked at.

It's not "equal" kit, if the sin is wearing agil, because they have had to sacrifice DC for Agility. If you kitted in agility also, it would even the fight out. Sins would have the agil buff still, but you'd have another 4-500 HP.

exactly this, there are questions about wiz, monk, archer, and wars.
Questions that have already been asked before but never answered...

Yet for asking these questions again all in once place I am being abused by uneducated, small minded people and Jel.

Class specific fights is all you're talkng about... sins dominate archers/wiz/taos because of shadow step, all you're talking about is sin v warrior.

"equal" kit doesn't refer to stats, it refers to cost, you talk about speed 7 warriors like it's easy to achieve.. it'll cost a warrior 100m if not more to achieve speed 7. I've always thought of mir as a rock/paper/scissors game, you shouldn't have 1 class that can beat every other.
