its basically just a filter over it. create the shade you want, copy the layer, remove the RGB colours.

Another question from myself, When you're moving something when you get nearly to the top or bottom of the image it automattically goes to the top or bottom. How do you stop this happening?

Ok i dug up a tutorial on it, but tweaked it so it looks like that image i posted

1) do a basic grey to black gradient, from top to bottom
2) Filter > Noise > Add Noise:

Ammount = 15.06
Distribution: Gaussion
Tick that monochromatic thingy

3) Filter > Blur > Motion blur

set the distance to 97

and the angle to anything you think looks good

the text is just a bit of embossing

Filter >> Noise >> Add Noise...

Filter >> Blur >> Motion blur...

Make new layer.

Make it look the colours you want . (Maybe using gradient)

Change blending mode on layer. (Try Screen / Hard Light.)



Dunno if that's right but it sorta looks the same .

awww thats not as good imo, looks better with the font with the black on the left. you shud just crop your ova image and have the half black and silver font
