Hey, I stopped playing a few month ago and decided to give it another quick little go as iv got a little spare time on my hands.

The issue im having is after moving home iv now downgraded to a little 18" HD TV as a monitor but it doesnt have a VGA port thus forcing me to use HDMI.

The issue with using HDMI is the scaling ingame is crazily out of sync on every resolution so has anybody at all managed to sort this?

Had same problem. I changed my desktop property settings to 1080p and mir settings to 800x600 on scaled. Try that and see if it works. If not what are your current settings?

After plenty messing around I sorted it, if you have a Nvidea GFX card go into its settings and change the display resolution through that to 1080p, 1680 x 1050.

Now the issue im having is logging on and been booted every time I stand still a few seconds whats that all about??

Edit - Id appreciate it if a member of staff got back to me on the lagging out issue as iv never experienced that playing chronicles or ace before, very strange.

Iv no 3rd party programs etc on the computer before someone states that, its freshly formatted!

You ran auto patcher? Sounds silly but client version boots you upon logging.

I would PM NH to see if your coming up on the anti cheat program, not implying you do have anything running but from what ive read, thats what it does, is boot you after its recognised something ammis rather than straight away.
worth the PM to eliminate that option.
also tedious as it may be have you tried deleting the whole thing and redownloading? that old trick of switch off off and back on again or blowing into the cartridge, a fresh install might do the trick.

If that would be the case then I cant put my finger on it as I said the pc is freshly formatted due to something corrupting in the hard drive before, it was only formatted two days ago and the only things iv downloaded since format is WoW, Chronicles and WinRAR. xD

Mind you I know when I downloaded chronicles I had the same issue I had months ago and that was the mir2.ini downloaded BLANK, I had to ask someone to send me their .ini just so I could copy and paste whats meant to be there.

In more ways than others I can only assume it has something to do with me running windows 8! >_<

My friend who is new to Mir made an account yesterday. He is having the same problem (Lagging out after standing stiil for a few seconds). He is also using Windows 8. It appeared to be happening less when he ran Mir as the admin. However not 100% on this. We tried running the patcher, a fresh install and allocating higher priority in CPU, none of these made any difference.

ingame name is Slipmatt,

What iv just noticed from logging in is after anywhere between 30-60 seconds of standing still i was watching a taos shinsu walking around him as his deva was in the way, all of a sudden the shinsu would just stop dead (that was me about to lag) now unless I moved my character quickly i would be fine... If i didnt id lag out, its almost like the server and my pc just stop sending information and packets between each other.

Exactly the same as lordipee, it was like his character would drop from the server. If I remember rightly he was either connected through the same router as me and loopy or using BT with FON connection. (which could be a problem I'd say?)
