The only thing i find more annoying than the fact you constantly advertise (poorly), bump threads to advertise (poorly, with very poorly written posts that make it 100% obviosus ur bumping with spam),your poor spelling and grammar, the fact you copied and pasted fire-box news, cahnged one line and left no credits, is the fact that your not content to leave anything alone. I registered on your site to complain that you stole your news, since then (even though i ticked NOT to receive e-mail from admins and staff) i have received no less than 10 e-mails, all for incredibly boring and ****ty "events" that i dont care about.
I dont care that your hiring mods, and i care less about voting for what ****ing mod ur hiring. If your going to advertise, advertise well, your trying to sell hosting to a bunch of people that cba to pay £7 a month for a game, most of which lack intelligence or motivation to host a website, run a website, and keep it up for more than a week.
Heres Some pointers.
1. Advertise somwhere decent. www.webhostingtalk.com will get you started.
2. Dont advertise on LOMCN unless its something that appeals to LOMCN, like some ****ty mir section or something.
3. Keep in "Regular" contact with members via E-mail, ive received so much crap, your in my spam filter now, and the rest will do the same, you send out an e-mail about crap every 3-5 days.
4. I posted ONE fire-box ad on here, and since then, weve got over 100 members, all via word of mouth, or beucase theyve joined our CS server, or taken an intrest in something in the site.
