played wiz a lot in private servers and don't think i ever once needed pet in a private server.

Personally wizz taming on servers is not normally worth these days. Mosts GMs don’t change it so it’s easier to tame and remove any pets that are ranged that would cause them headaches from ppl crying NERF WIZ PETS etc.

Won’t be having them cries with a raking cat mind.

Only pet I tame on a server nowadays is a single frost tiger for PvP fun.

I thought any mob that wasn’t a boss and isn’t classified as undead should be tameable on the database.

i think needs to be set as tameable in db to be able to tame that mob .

and

undead isn't that so u can use the wiz skill TurnUndead on mobs

If I played wiz as I do not, I'd only tame mobs that are fast moving around, like BMs, couldn't be Aed with slow mobs that come only when the target is dead. IMO that's also why cats are not being tamed, regardless whether they can or cannot be tamed.

I recall seeing tamed omas and yetis and spitting spiders but not cats. Might as well tame those slithering slimes, can't recall what they are called.

He's referring to the low level mobs you could tame. Yob was one of them.

There are some missing ones you could tame like Keratoid, Sandworm, Visceral Worm, Wolf and that bird sort of creature.

Those low level snakes in Serpent Valley too. Not many others.

Visceral Worms pack the punch and are no slouches either. But you won't see mobs tames nowadays with most or even all players like Jev here.

Didn't know slug sound changed, I always decried OW sounding was removed (probs many asian kids peed their pants and mums intervened?) as well as WB made to sound as normal Boars.
