ram sticks*

how can i tell what ram sticks my mobo needs,
with the mobo it says like PC3200,
but komplett has an option of like DDR2 PC3200 and
DDR-DIMM PC3200. so say my mobo is this;
http://komplett.co.uk/k/ki.asp?sku=312583&view=detailed
it says on there;
Supported RAM Speed PC2100, PC2700, PC3200
RAM Features Two DDR channels
but which ram does this mean.
and when i look for ram sticks 1024mb, like all of them
say sumthin like ;
Corsair Value S. PC3200 DDR-DIMM 1024MB Kit w/two matched Value Select 512MB
does this mean its not 1024mb single stick but its two 512mb cards? also ive heard people on the forum talk about sum sort of dual sticks or sumthin, i dno lol

ram sticks are easy m8 u unscrew your pc and there on the right side to lil lines
=========
========= and the stick clips into it
they come in all sizes 256 512 1024
£20 £33 £??
if you buy 1 512 ram with allready having 512 ram it slips into 2nd spot and u get 1024 - 64 for grahpix
pc shops do it there and then on the spot and so can u takes5mins 2 upgrade ram

That is two sticks of 512MB RAM each. Which motherboard are you getting?

the one in link probably, unless theres better around for not much more, i still havnt decided because i hav no idea what to get lol, i no i want sumthin like an amd athlon 3700+, a compatible mobo, a gig ram card compatible, and a 256mb graph card, n a 200gb sata hard drive, off kompletts website, for about 500 quid.
and then ive also gotta go searching around for what fans n all that i would need, considering i would probably try and overclock the pc, not by much to be safe.

You need to know the type of motherboard before you see what RAM you are getting. Some RAM isn't compatable. I don't know if you can get a 1gb stick of RAM, I don't think so. And 500 quid is a very low budget for them specs, the processor will take a large chunk of that by itself. A more realistic price would be about 700-800, maybe a bit more.

Things to note:

1) Downgraded CPU to make room for a better videocard (you need a better VC vs. CPU for gaming)
2)Went for a 250GB drive because A) Faster B) More space for not that much more money
