well i put new ram in and stuff, put my computer dont seem to think its ther but when i scanned my comp it says its ther...

lol wtf..... try opening the case taken all the ram out and putting it back in agen different order lol

As above really.

If there is a dodgey stick of ram, then plug each stick in one by one until you find the dodgey one.

Same thing sort of happened to me, i had to re-arrange the RAM about lol. Just switch yur RAM sticks into different slots and mix them about , should work then :)

Yur pc supports same RAM as meh :P

same problem here, rearranged my sticks, seems one of the slots is buggered cos doesnt matter which stick is in this one slot, it always seems to not register it.

yeah lol i realise. I do alot of CAD so its working alongside a low-ish line quadro 1300 .. as for the OS, i'm working on it. xp is a solid enough base for now i've got a 2003 setup ready for my new machine. waitin to try out Vista

its quite nice. gonna look into puram tech and instant power on options soon. still takes 5-10secs from power on to desktop..NOT GOOD ENOUGH!! lol

ram is workin ok again now.
