Depends on your Mobo, Find the make of your Mobo.

Search the Mobo name on google and it should have specs for it somewhere (Including max ram)

nvm i found it::

Memory:DDR2 PC2-5300
Memory Type: DDR2 PC2-5300, DDR2 (non-ECC)
Maximum Memory: 4GB
Slots: 4
Each memory slot can hold DDR2 PC2-5300 with a maximum of 1GB per slot.*
*Not to exceed manufacturer supported memory.

Although the memory can be installed one module at a time, the best performance comes from using matched pairs of modules.
How much memory your Windows OS will recognize depends on which version of Windows you are running. 32-bit versions of Windows will see (and utilize) only 3GB or 3.5GB. To utilize more memory, install a 64-bit version of your OS. More information about OS memory maximums can be found here.
Memory or DRAM is the 'working' memory of the computer. It's used to store data for programs (sequences of instructions) on a temporary basis.

PC2-5300 is your speed, which is DDR2 667Mhz.

4 slots, maximum 4GB, so you can put a max of 1GB per slot. (though it already tells you that)

Very cheap for DDR2, Depnds what you want.

You could get 2GB DDR2 sticks (Value) for like £13-£15 nowdays.

Yes all about Quality

But remember if your on XP your system will only use 3.5gb or something.

Cheap for DDR2? HA. DDR2 memory is way over priced now that DDR3 is the current memory.

I would recommend branded memory (kingston / corsair / crucial) don't go for unbranded generic.

You want to be going for something like this,

http://www.ebuyer.com/92879

Ebuyer don't stock that much DDR2 memory any more though, so you might be able to find the same cheaper elsewhere.

download coretemp , make sure its actualy your ram bottlenecking you and not your cpu.

DDR2 ram is more expensive then ddr3 now.

why would we advertise it as 5 day shipping if it arrived in 3 days? If you wanted it in 3 days you should have chosen the 3 day shipping option :S

No you missed my point. Most places now have a free shipping (5 days) option which actually usually arrives within 1-3 days they just say 5 days to cover themselves
