Rapid cheating

This guy Rapid is using cheats - i cant proove it, but we all know u can never proove these things this already =)

He has got auto aim for sure, seems a little fast... Im guessing he has hax speed down and auto aim on (very good for a tao i know plenty of tao's who got away using it for years and didnt get caught because they didnt move fast)


Reason he was cheating?

First 10 hits you could say they guy is a pretty good shot. but hitting a target you cant target because pillas and walls are in the way now thats tricky business...add in the mobs (bats and wooma's) and its even more tricky. thats not even the magic part!! This guy has such a good shot he is even able to hit u after u rt ... and continue when u move off of the screen

Now thats a magic trick!!

I dont play this game too much, so far I played 2 days in 6 months... so i dont have any personal issues with anyone =)

But a cheat is a CHEAT and i saw him doing it so i thought hey why not... soo this is my first cheater identified

If I hit a SFB and you RT before it connects it still hits you. Also if I cast when you're at the edge of my screen and you double dash off-screen it'll still hit. If he does that 20 times in a row that's a different matter then.

And no Tao can hit over walls/pillars, cheats or not. The game's geometry doesn't change because of a locally installed program.

I hate to be the guy to say this... But this sounds like classic lag, I will do a investigation into the player, but soulfireballing through walls is something that is controlled server side and there wouldn't be a cheat/hack that could do this (because they can only effect the client side of the game).

Also hitting after you have R/ted also sounds like lag, as on his end he has hit you before you R/ted but your end hasn't seen this action until after.

I dont do the fraps stuff, just see what i see and say what ive seen =)

We all know mir, u could spend a lifetime trying to proove these things... lets not dwell on it.

A guy cheats, another guy cheats, a server closes its mir =)

Its your speed your ping or knowing how to set up your pc to play that makes the difference in game. I know people who wont play unless they are faster then most .
Though I have to point out, clue is in his name. Bit of a slap in the face.
Or he can pay for a fast gaming connection, lives near the exchange, has a really good pc and knows the right tweaks

Been in a guild with rapid for a long time,

Hes quick, but I can kill him without a deva easily by catching him

I often get called a cheat too.

Stop winging, its the same old ****ing story.. Lose a fight, Cry cheats because you cannot admit the truth, hes simply faster than u...... End of.

You want to learn how to play a ranged class while never stopping running? Play your class for a week and im sure you can figure out there are more than 2 buttons on a mouse

Edit::: Who are you ingame? ill come on tonight and pvp u In Contest room too see your speed, Just so you can see whether its you that's slow or him that's fast.

Camstudio is a better option for recording I would think unless fraps also compresses the video for you now... last time I used fraps it didn't.

Besides camstudio is free none of the 30/60second videos..

Is there a auto aim trick that isnt cheating for this game whilst moving?

I know you can pull up the window whilst hovering over their name but that doesnt work when you start moving.
YOu can also ctr-right clik their name to bring up the menu to auto lock but again it unlocks when you start moving.

Am i missing a trick here as ive seen a select few with fantastic accuracy in the sense that they will be running away from me but still cast and hit me every time without changing direction towards me or stopping longer than the quick cast.

I might just be getting slow with my age but when i try to flick the mouse from my running direction to the chasing member direction in that split second that you start to cast i tend to either miss, stop running due to cursor location or run toward them.

I have tried a few things like ctrl-right click them then use V to auto run but again it doesnt keep the player lock on.

I dont think there should be one whilst moving but wanted to make sure im not missing a mechanic thats not considered a bug/exploit.

I agree that Rapid is fast, i was on my old pc so didnt stand a chance as i was a 25fps kinda guy.. not seen him since im at the cap now some poeple still moce faster than me though even with full fps.
how do i check my ping to the server? i done a speed test in general and its very low but i wonder if its not reaching the server as it should.

Rapid is fast, but hes not "rapid" :P (love the pun)

Theres people double the speed, and even them I doubt are cheating.

People just love a moan when they cant do nothing about it.

There have always been players who know more about pcs than others. They have an advantage and its the only advantage that matters - speed.
They often talk like they are somehow better at mir. They arent they are speedy. These types accuse everyone else of moaning and calling them cheats. Most of em wont play without finding some way to be faster than everyone else. Used to be tiny beast Xp and acpi. Theres obviously something else here.
Dont see them explaining how to be as fast so they can have some good fights not just fights they are almost certain of winning.
This is why a lots of players dont emphasise pvp. Its only fun when you have a chance. Its not fun against people who are so fast you cant hit them.

I think many people use the auto run feature which allows them to maintain a running state whilst quickly flicking back to fire... I don't really see this as an "exploit" or "bug" as its not the easiest thing to pull off.

I agree with that. Some people seem to be extremely good at it so eindered if there was a different trick allowing for greater accuracy.
