Step 1 - Melfin, The thread starter, asked a question about the legality of hosting private mir servers.

Step 2 - I state you could be done, but we (ie MIR PRIVATE SERVERS) have been around for years and for him not to worry.

Step 3 - You go on a rant about how LOMCN was asked to remove said content from WeMade, Which you explained in a patronising way as if I never knew in the first place.

Step 4 - I ask you why LOCMN as a forum was even brought up as the whole thread was about mir servers, NOT THE FORUM

Step 5 - You go on to claim that I WAS talking about LOMCN and that you know all.

Your wrong, You read it how you wanted to read it, If you thought about it for a second, you would of known that I must of been referring to Private Servers because the thread is blatantly about them. NOT LOMCN.

in my eyes if the source is not directly leeched or stolen from WEMADE then they cannot sue you for copyright due to it not being their content..
This makes the content your own (like the delphi Mir3) it's all made code of lomcn members..

Wrong indeed because private servers of any sort still use Wemade content in the form of the graphical work which was created and is owned by them. But regardless, as Prai has already stated, people have been doing this for 10 years and no one within this community has been prosecuted nor approached directly by Wemade.

Even if you replaced the graphics the fact that the server/client code has been reverse engineered to copy exactly what official mir "does" could be construed as ip infringment.
