Really need some help (plz read )

the prob that i have is i can get my server online with no probs but 99% off the time i cant logon i get passed the pick char bit to my noticebord hit ok and iam sent back to me desktop and this if doing my head coz iam letin peeps down

iam on windows xp (pro) and on ntl broadband

i know its possibal to host and play on one pc but i really need some help

hope someone has the time to help someone in need

that is down to the Mir.exe you are using if it is the wrong exe for the server then it WILL NOT enter the server and will boot ya to the desktop

to me it sounds like your using the wrong mir.exe to play it, but some more experienced person will probably post here and prove me wrong.

i had the exact problem and yeppers it was the .exe that was the problem

Go into the server folder and mir200 folder (usually c:\mirserver\mir200)

there will be a file called mir.dat rename that file to mir.exe and place it in your client directory

(make sure you see the extension and that you dont just rename it mir.exe.dat )

You're right, it's the only thing that causes it :P
