i have all files now and i have the full client it took me ages to set up and i finally done it when i open all gates it logs me into real mir is that ment to happen (dont think so) what am i doing wrong please answer

make a short cut to the mir1.4 exe (place it on ur desktop or some where)
right click on this shortcut and click Properties
on the end of the Target: line add a space and then the IP of the server
click ok

now use this shortcut to play the server

you can have a shortcut for each server to the same exe - just make sure you have a entrie in the ftp.ini for each server

but then you have to have a set of ini files for each server you play on

this way you can have one set .. dont have to worry about any thing .. just click the shortcut andaway you go

dont worry abount them .. leave them as they are .. mir takes care if it

If it's connecting to real mir then that means you have the wrong mir.exe, and the ip address for real mir are still in the .ini files...

i am a gm but i really do need help with the commands some one please help me
i know there is a command .txt i found it rubbish i dont know how to make items and can sum one help me and tell me how to do other great things with a gm thanks

hey guys im stuck becuz of my sevrer u know u go in
D:\mirserver\mud2\DBSrv200\FDB and u delte all files in there mine keep cummin back and i have no chance in deleting them becuz wen i do 10 seconds later there back
help me please how can i delete them permently

close the db server first, then delete them, then restart the server - and yes they will come back, as they are the files that the chr data is saved in.

what so i open all server gates but not db until i delte the files tht need char info?
