One thing to bare-in mind, generally mobile data connections such as as the ones provided by Three are NAT'ed; this effectively means that their could be hundreds or even thousands of people concurrently using the same public IP address.
(Much like how your home router works, many clients 1 IP) There is a set pool of IP's available to Three customers, which apparently are not geographic? and are distributed throughout the country.
I can't imagine playing Mir on 3/4G though, latency must be awful lol.
