Like i was saying.. Forbidden prov is fine for wizard or a 43+ taoist, what about the rest?

Lol...Fact that you think it's only fine for a 43+ Taoist says it all about your experience in Mir.

Was lvling my Tao around there from Lv27...Essentially anyone with Poison or ranged attacks has the ability to level up around there, which I believe was the whole purpose for it being Exp over damage to encourage some solo, catch up lvling?

From my point of view, when i actually reach 43....I likely will have no intention to continuing to use it as the exp is not THAT great to use over the ability to get items every now and again.

I think Jamie has done a good thing with the province and is the first attempt i've seen any server owner make in terms of catching up new players like myself without resorting to tripling the exp rate of the entire server (Effectively not allowing any catching up lol).

BUT....having said that, i admit that what Kori has said reigns true...the red poison is likely the cause for fking over the melee...otherwise they shouldn't struggle any more than they would in PB...the lack of drop rewards from these higher exp'd mobs should be expected.

Your talking utter ****, Take you 1 bad movement to get 2 red Marr's on you, your dead... Forbidden becomes useful for a taoist at 43+ is when it really benefits this class. I'm a wizard so i don't really care as i don't let the mobs hit me but i know if 2-3 red hit me im ****ed without sunny spam and have seen first hand what 4 mobs do to a nicely kitted 47 assassin.

Of course i'm talking **** lol.

Nothing to do with the fact i've been hit 5-6 times and not died without using a pot, let alone a sunny.
Nothing to do with the fact that you're a Wizard with a piddly HP pool.

We're talking about Melee. Sin will understandably get **** on a little as there HP is not that much greater (I think?). Warriors should be able to have a few, but red poison could hardly be helping things lol.

Your information and kill-ability as a Wizard is completely useless in this matter.

Warriors and Sins AMC defence is likely smaller than ours. But you on the other hand have a small HP pool, whereas i don't...likely why i can take a bit more.

Warriors and Sins likely have smaller AMC defence, AND have to deal with red poison...likely bringing in their damage to similar standards to your own.

I could probably be 2 hit as well if i wasn't fighting as ranged in order to be poisoned...you're not looking at the bigger picture, you're viewing the situation as a Wizard and not what could be contributing to the problem they have.

Jamie has clearly stated the stats of the mobs and they will have no extra trouble here than in PB. The only differences are the Poison and the Blast dmg from the Red (Magic damage).

Here you go...I went to give a Red 1 a cuddle.
About 11 hits? You can clearly see the after burst of the flame hit behind me. The damage was brutal...i mean...i wish i had your sun pots.

I started to fight them normally for a while to see if i could replicate this issue and i can't lol...i'm having no issues, I don't even get red poisoned? Who mentioned that? Don't think i've even got red poisoned now i think about it....no longer understanding the problem :)

Is thawing potion only in shop or drop files and does it remove red poison? Or only slow.

Would be nice to get some in drops. Both places hit too hard for warrior red poison or not. I can see the logic of the place for low lvl wizz and Tao to catch up just don't get hit lol but warriors best stay clear and sims will always be better in other caves regardless of lvl right now

That being said I do want to compliment GM in slashing burst warrior skill being the best thing of combating warriors early game before half moon where thy have worse damage than sins and have to wack a mob with no abilities like a ****ing caveman dreamin of half mooning lures or easier mobs. That's why I don't understand all of the balance cries warrior are legit one of hardest classes to level after Tao untill finally can get se decent stats to tank because our damage will always be less than sin but yea that's a whole different topic

Also cave has just came out, I'm sure GM is still in the process of monitering and balancing cave to better suit it's purpose

Ahh yes, this makes more sense. I did think of it being AMC def based, but assumed Jamie wouldn't have been so 'look at the stats, end of' if that was the case. Happy to be proven wrong with actual explanation though., so thank you for explaining.
You for real? Thats literally what Jamie has done for months, anybody who plays this game knows your slightly special in the head if you are comparing these to PB mobs in any way shape or form.. But its cool Jamie chucks some numbers at it.. **** it must be in line.

The mobs in the cave can thrust you from a 1space distance away, and can also red poison you.

Red poison alone is enough to make the cave completely and utterly aids to hunt in, hence why people are saying they hit too hard. Remove the red poison, problem solved.

Ye, but if u remove red psn, it would be too easy imo..
