thought i'd share what recipes ive used so far, perhaps others will do the same...


dsword - 5 peice bio / 8x amethyst neke = fail

jmace - 5 peice bio / 8x bluejadeneke = fail

dsword - 5 peice bio / 1x coralring + 1x claw neke = fail

dsword - 6 peice bio / 1x coralring + 1x dragonring + 1x claw neke (Success +1)
dsword - 7 peice bio / 2x coralring + 2x amethystnecky + 1x dragonring (success +2)

dsword - 6 peice bio / 1x coralring + 1x dragonring + 1x claw neke (Success +1)
dsword - 7 peice bio / 2x coralring + 1x amethystnecky 2x bluejadeneke + 1x dragonring (+2)
dsword - 7 peice bio / 3x coralring + 3x bluejadeneke + 3x claw neke (FAILED)

Trouble is i think that there is a big random element( like gemming maybe),what worked for u wont necessarily work for someone else (but guidelines are always good)

i have (like many) rfined a wms to +3mc i gave the exact recipe (down to repairing all item dura etc, bio amount item info, even bodyluck (not sure if this affects) to a guildee..it failed at +1.:nightmare:

As far as I've found the less items I use the more success. 3xamethyst for +1 and 4 for +2 tends to work for me most times , from what I recall only had one break and that was going for +1. Have not tried for +3 so can't comment on that.

Try the mir3 way
+1 3 puri 7 3 coral rings
+2 4 puri 8 3 amethyst neckies
+3 5 puri 9 3/4 dragon rings or4 amethyst neckies
+4 6 puri 10 5 drag rings

I doubt that there are flawless recipes but logically it seems reasonable

I think this'll have chance of succes.

Can anybody give me a pointer as to what should be used to refine a Jmace, how much BIO and what purity and what Items to use? Would like to go for DC+2.

I appreciate there is no garantee but refining is cheaper than buying a Gem no?

I used 5 bio of various puri's that added upto 50 and 5 claw neckies for +1 then i used 6 bio that added upto 70 and 4 claw necky an amethyst necky and a death gauntlet for +2 on my mace
