Refining and Gemming Needs to Come Quick!

Just an observation, since all the drops have changed there's been a massive influx of items in the game, dropping prices like crazyyy.

JMaces this morning were 9m and now they're down to 6m in just a few measly hours.
All equipment is dropping at silly rates.

We need refining and gemming so people can snap a few weapons, break a few accessories and buy some new kit.

Otherwise we're gonna be flooded with kit that'll take ages to get back out of the game.

Not to mention ... I really wanna start gemming and refining ...

shops bug? i'm assuming this means a bug which is currently preventing the removal of junkman and reinstating the ability to search through shops for items.

They do it every time... Every time there has been an update with the drops, they have gone from being non existent to over kill.

Stop complaining, you lot would never be happy. They are working on going a direction that they feel will better suit the game...be glad they care enough to do it, and at the very least wait until they are done the current round of changes before criticizing.

I dont see a problem in lvl 30 eaps being cheap anyway to be honest, don't get why people are complaining. It's better than getting up to lvl 40 and still be wearing a g axe or mage staff... that imo is ridiculous. it's not like lvl 30 weaps make people overpowered either. Leave them be cheap, and leave the drops the same imo

But yeah refining especially needs to be in game, it was one of the most fun parts of Mir and I dont think it even needed to be changed really

Have to trust the gm knows wst hes doin. Lookin at the big picture, 2.0 should av lots new items and refining. Hopefully these will include the "new" rares.

I hope so! looking forward to pushing my gear past titanrings/soulspring bracers into one or two of the higher items which currently just aren't really in circulation.

I hope you guys don't see this as a whining thread, I understand why the drops are there I just wanna see the prices steady out and I realllly wanna start smashing some kit in the hopes that it improves lol.

I think these changes are for the best and once weapons and kit start being broken prices will steady out and it'll be spot on.

On a low rate server I do not want to see players with +++ stats on every item. I do not want to see +10 weapons. I dont thnk slot items should be gemmable.
If you are going to put these things ingame have they been checked for vulerability? Is there a way to check no enhancers are used?
Always heard loads of rumours about gemming and refining could be manipulated to guarantee success.
Will there be caps? Conditions , like no more than 3 the same but others up to cap?
Have we all got to wait n see until its ready for launch?

I'd confidently say that 95% of these rumours are just cooked up. It's all just RNG and where abuse is possible it's normally picked up very quickly. So many many people refined their weapons that you are always going to get someone who has been lucky and has an absolutely insane weapon, good on them.

In respect to orbs I wouldn't mind them in the game, everything has it's price and if someone hunts and can afford them then great. I thought that past +4, gemming/orbing was very improbable so it's almost a waste of a gem/orb.

And do you want to see a low rate server with high stat items?
I think Sam said he didnt like orbs and they might not be in this server anyway. I might be remembering that wrong though.

Orbs are fine if they are appropriately rare. They add another layer of endgame, or in other words mean people always have something to hunt for. Just because orbs are in game doesn't mean everyone will have max kits. If you trust the gm's to make drops properly orbs will be fine, more than fine in fact they will increase the longevity and enjoyment of the game.

I think my self and many others who enjoy the mir experience are not excited about everyone running around in exactly the same "low rate" kit. The ability to add stats, break items, try again, go for higher stats, make an amazing item etc is part of what makes the game exciting for people. I have no desire to run around in a stock standard kit for a year...who would?

Two days before the drops changed in PB i bought 2 d rings, 2 KBs, a green bead, a 30 wep, and a dc helm. i spent a good amount. that same kit is now worth under 2m. do you see me complaining? When it comes to mir you have to deal with the fact that sometimes prices change, and if things get cheaper than can only benefit you when it comes to upgrading to the next set of items. I for one am happy as it sets us all up good to get some tasty weps ingame with refines coming out (hopefully soon, BH!).
