Refining freezing blades

I'm wondering I've seen quite a couple 7luck dragon swords their normal stats are 7-22
freezing blades are 10-25 seems like a shitty weapon but it only has a 15 dc gap liked dsword and should be luck able to 7 to some degree. Wouldn't it be smart to refine one to +7/8 and then luck it to death once you do? This would net quite a good weapon possibly better then the 46-50 sin weap

any thoughts?

It works off original stats.. Assassin weapons seem to be very strange, I know myself and a few others who've smashed hundreds of benes onto freezing blades, Slow+Dc+ blades of darkness etc..

Yet they give absolutely no return and seem to have a much lower ability to luck than dragonswords.

The better your ping, the easier it is to luck up weapons.

Can confirm that ping helps with benes. Also helps with DC. If your ping is in minus figures it acts as a multiplier. E.g. if you have a ping of -20ms, this means you hit 20% harder. Im currently at -15ms but i've just cancelled my broadband and im having 56k installed on friday so hoping to get my ping to around -30ms in time for the weekend.

perhaps it isnt based on the difference inbetween anymore but just top end dc so the higher the top end the harder it is to luck.
seems legit why fateblades and ds are luckable and freezing is alot harder unless retarded bad luck.

On topic, its a sound theory and personally i'd try it. I do think benes are also based hugely on being a lucky sod. As long as youve got body luck5 and no pk points id say thats probably all you can do to affect it. The rest is down to the weapon and random luck.
