Refining Thread - Any Luck?

Yeah not too bad i've done some testing so far so good, Got a +1 Recipe to work, It's nice trying to figure out a new system 
2 attempts to refine 26 bow, 2 fails so far, using a combination of ruby rings, life necks and d bracers.
Going to try with some lower grade stuff like charm rings convex lens Ect, just for the sake of testing.

Can get to 2-5 on a mage staff no problem, but not managed to get to 2-6 yet.
I have just had a +2 sc increase on a SSW though from my first attempt making it 2-6 which was nice. Going for 2-7 now.

Anyone get two refines to work?
Success for first Mace i tried refining, then failed on 2nd refine. Then tried 5 other maces after and failed on all first tries, tried using higher/lower grade for each of those fails as tests.

Something doesn't seem quite right. It may be a completely new system but one thing for sure is that the chances of success are very low.
I've spent 3 million now on testing and I have nothing to show for it really. The downside to it being this difficult is that people won't bother to continue wasting gold on it and it will end up being an unused system.

I’ve had 3 soul spring wands all go to +1
One is now +2
the other 2 smashed goin for +2
its hard to get +4/5 I like it.

How long are you leaving it before collecting your weapon??
Xx69xX did mention in another thread that the longer you leave it the more chance for success. (70mins + being the limit before no further advantage).
For my 6 refines anyway they we're all 180 mins+ except for one which I left for roughly 80 mins.
The only one that did succeeded and was first refine, that was in there 3hrs.
