Refining

Why do you allow the normal use of unchecked refined? If you’ve put a weapon in to refine it should either work or break. There seems to be a lot of Chinese players all rocking around with (*) weapons and it looks very suspect. One mad **** has made a set of BoMs to +8. 99% of the server would be lucky to get +5 but this guy has somehow managed it on on of the rarest and most expensive weapons in game.

Honestly been thinking the same, so has a guildie when mentioned.

How was the chrons refine exploited?

The result of the refine was added as an extra stat to the weapon, similar to how extra DC,MC,SC is added from orbs.

Someone read that extra stat in RAM; 0 = fail, 1 = success

I'll be shocked if its done the same way on crystal

Just seems dodgey af when weps r getting left unchecked by the same group of ppl.

How do you use "unchecked" refined weapons? Do they not break/succeed when you use them?

Nope, until you ask the NPC to check the refine has worked or not you are free to use it normally.
