Regarding learning lvl4 skills.

If people find it too difficult to get lvl4 skills people will just quit the game. 5 hrs or more yesterday farming these books for 3 chars and not a single lvl4 skill.

level 4 skills are not required to progress, if people quit because of that then there is something else wrong and its just an excuse.

They are a small increase, not a requirement. Somethings should take longer than 5 hours in zombies to achieve.

Where did you get that specific figure from? 0.1% is extremely low, and frankly I'd question it if a GM said it as too many have already gotten them for it to be that low. I'd estimate it to be 1% to 5% (possibly higher), most people who are spamming them are getting them quite quickly considering it's only been a day.

It's not 1/1000 I've used under 50 Assassin books all on pretty average pages and got White Lotus level 4.. Pretty sure if it was 1/1000 i wouldn't of had a chance.. Guess i could be the RNG god.

I had to hit the drop cap to get a vigor ring/neck on my assassin. I then went into RMV 4th and got a pendent within 20mins on a wizard.

Feeling this! My bro hit the drop cap and got ring, necky and bracelet off one Ape! Spent 6 days farming the things and I had everything drop within 2 days and was onto my second kit while he was still on 0 items.

With the RNG involved you may never get a skill to lvl 4. Im up for a grind (even heavy one) but no for rng, Make it guaranted as some items (even 1 to 1000) but make it that at some point it WILL happen. Not like now.

Besides - what happens when skill lvl 5 are implemented? Not having a lvl 4 will block you out of it (see up - rng may decide you'lll never get this).

PS. There is a one big difference between rng item drops (item is not destroyed once used) and books reading (book is destroyed). So don't even try that,

True but i only used around 45-50 its pretty good RNG :P if it was " 1/1000 " which is not as it works off a % of the pages i guess so it will be all sorts of different rates..

It's the prestige really. High levels like to say they have everything, and when it's harder than just grinding more they don't like it. Could literally just change the colour of the spell, and they'd still want it and moan if it was hard to get.
