Hi, I really think the new secure system is a bit awful. i can not change my password and i can not create new account even I type the right code.

It's not just secure, it's nailed down.
From what I'm hearing, no new accounts, no password changes, and the secret question's answer has to be the question itself or you get a fat red X.
Edit: could be there's gonna be a cooling down of new accounts, but I haven't seen them mention it.

I created a new account the other day using the new system. Admittedly it was a bit of a pain (the CAPTCHA they use is the most annoying one ever imo, lots of sites use it though), but it did work.

Had a small bug with account creation... Spaces in question and answers was causing it to go looopeh...
Fixed...
As for changing passwords, you need to know the details you signed up with, the green tick will indicate when it is correct.

I just tried to create an account myself, and unless the email takes a while, it never worked.
Account name - don't know if this actively checks for existing account names, but got green tick every time.
Password - comparison check is ok, green tick
Secret question - seems fine, green tick
Secret answer - you can get a green tick by entering the question, and with 1 word. (might be worth some explain text on entry)
Date of Birth - maybe I'm too old !! - you do get a green tick after it complains and you fully enter it.
Email - is this checked for existing accounts ? to avoid people making lots of accounts ? I don't currently have an account (I had one when the server started), as the login says it doesn't exist, but my email could be in a db somewhere. Get a green tick tho.

Clicking SUBMIT after typing in the captcha always gives Account creation failed. Hitting enter after typing the captcha clears all the entries after the site thinks about it - could this be the point you wait for an email ?

You're supposed to get a "pop up" on the screen saying account creation successful and to wait for a confirmation email.
And yes, you can only sign up with 1 email per account.

Ah ok, that's likely to be my main issue.

Cant change mine as i didn't setup with a password with a cap and number. Also my account name has special characters witch isn't allowed? Well it sure did let me make the damn thing didn't it?

So I just tried creating a new account, (wanted to give archer a go but didnt want it on the same account as my own) i have a green tick in all the fields thats been filled out and when i enter the captcha done it around 15 times btw. It fails every single god damn time!! iv refreshed the picture numerous times and not a single one works.

It seems to work for me. I'm using an up to date version of Chrome, Windows 7 64bit and Avast antivirus.
I put the date of birth as 01 01 1900. In other words; I included the zeros.
The question and answer was just 'mother' and 'yes'.
I had the numbered version of the captcha which worked immediately.

Tried to changes password and it tells me the answer for my question is wrong. It isn't I can assure you.

In all honesty... (from sorting previous account issues)... It most likely is, its case sensitive also (maybe it shoudn't be).

I cannot remember what I put in for my secret question/answer (mainly because I usually put anything in just to fill the field, never had to actually use it before) I've put in a support ticket asking you to email me my secret q and a, can you do this or am I now stuck with the password iv got? I usually change passwords every month or so, this new password change system just feels OTT =/

Any sort of reply would be great =/ iv tried mailing in a ticket, msging on facebook, posting on here. all I want to do is change my password which even if I had the old password I don't think the system would let me as its 6 characters long and all are numbers.
when i try creating new account i got everything right.but i got this:"Account creation failed, please try again"
I have heard that you have to have the question and the answer in the answer section. I didn't try that. But in away from comp atm so i will have to try it later.
Maybe you should try this system Samuel. Try it with login credentials you used for Mir years ago. I beleive my answer maybe in a format the system won't accept ie. too short or no numbers or caps.
